I think you could make the argument Lockdown’s design has the most personality because his head is a gun. You show that to anyone they instantly know everything about him.
Bayverse lockdown is ironically one of probably the only 3 (tf1 megatron, sentinel) well written and executed bayverse villains period. His character being very faithful to his animated counterpart. I feel like if he was reoccurring in the movies and especially the comics, we could of seen him be more neutral and team up with cons or bots depending on the situation or what his goal was. Only criticism i got is that i don't 100% like how he's the generic black color most bayverse evil robots are, makes his design not standout too much as it's not colorful or flashy. On top of that, i would of preferred if his vehicle mode was a muscle car and not a Lamborghini. Feeling that is also a bit generic too since bay makes too many characters into sport/flashy expensive fast cars. His robot mode is fine but lacks vehicle parts which makes his toys inaccurate at times. His face is a bit too humanoid but he's one of the few characters that makes it work somehow. Overall, if we see lockdown again in the knightverse, hopefully he's closer to his animated counterpart in design and vehicle mode but keeps that animated/bayverse personality
I agree hsi design looks great. He (to me) looks how they probably all originally looked on Cybertron. And i actually think he looks more likely to fit into his "car form". Also he doesn't care what the humans think of him, or any of them think of him, he's there to do a job. Really great video by the way
