- Team Botswana returned home from the Paris Olympics to a massive celebration, with over 30,000 fans filling the National Stadium in Gaborone. Their star sprinter, Letsile Tebogo, made history by winning the country’s first-ever Olympic gold in the 200m, and they also took home silver in the men’s 4x400m relay. But the celebrations didn’t stop there-Botswana’s fans couldn’t resist trolling American sprinter Noah Lyles after his dramatic exit from the 200m final, where he had to be taken off the track in a wheelchair due to COVID-19. Thats about as authentic as Marcell Jacobs 100m gold in Tokyo 2020. Who really believes he can beat Noah straight up?
Most people in the track world including Bolt and Gatlin. Tobogo was in better shape this season. It'll be a good match up next season.
