UPDATE: I didn’t realize after making the final cut that the last 2 minutes were cut off, I am so sorry :( luckily most of that content was just me doing my outro spiel
I haven't been to any DISNEY park since 1996. Never visited Universal Parks period, so to say I am excited to visit EPIC UNIVERSE is an understatement. I have been saving since the park was announced. My mothers 70th bday will be in JUNE of 2025, so that is when we are planning on attending. She hasn't been to a park since she took me as a child in 1983! Something tells me she will be excited!
Universal has been up to Disney's level since Harry Potter world a decade ago. So Epic Universe is going to be as good or better than if Disney were to open a new park. It will be the first park to open by Disney or Universal in 27 years. Absolutely everything will be state of the art.
@@GTNoverwe’ll see, Universal is still the king of screen rides and Motion sickness. Hopefully with the Epic universe it’s limited screens. Recently went to Universal Hollywood and was super disappointed with Bowsers Challenge, I appreciate the ambition but augmented reality isn’t there yet.
@CobraKai63 Universal has been very vocal about moving away from mostly screen based attractions starting in 2013 and reiterating it in 2018. Motion sickness is just inevitable at theme parks. Disney's Cosmic Rewind is probably the most notorious new ride for being vomit inducing. I do agree Augmented Reality isn't there yet, but I still really enjoyed the physical sets of Bowsers Challenge. The AR is just an added interactive bonus to a great sit down ride.
4:24 Its 100% photoshopped, i think itll still look great in person, but probably not the most simple to capture on camera so they had to insert it digitally.
Ya its honestly some hard material shaped to look like a cushion Using actual cushion with fabric/leather would be hella expensive and labor intensive to maintain for the amount of guests they are gonna have. Cannot freaking wait tho
Universal Studio Park in Orlando City, Florida. Disney World, at Kossime, Florida. Disneyland Park at Los Angeles, California. Olando Sea World Park, Florida.
Wait, wait, wait. Guests enter 1920’s Paris from the Fantastic Beast films then are transported to the present day Ministry of Magic, in Britain? That makes no sense…
I think Universal is just doing the best they can. There aren't a lot of environments that would suit large crowds over time. Hogwarts would have trouble handling Hogsmead sized crowds as would the Burrough. Though both of those would be great if Universal did something like MeowWolf and built various Micro-themed areas around the world. Then they could build more than one Hogwarts and have a different story or adventure for each. Outside of these two locations, the majority of Harry Potter has few large locations that can handle theme sized crowds. Diagonally had to be scaled up a bit to meet crowd size and firecode regulations.

Epic universe opens up the day before my birthday and I’m going next year in August with my fiancée and his family so excited 😆

got to visit the workshop in charge of designing and creating the ride sets/dressings! they’re genuinely so cool in person, very impressive
Think of the ride vehicle more like the spiderman scoop vehicles but on longer stilts, rather than tower of terror
I wonder how similar the Floo Network will be to the one used in the Food Network Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking show?
WOW thanks for the update
Wish they made it bigger. Its gonna be soo packed
I heard that they gonna delay the harry potter themed area because the atteaction doesnt finish in time is that correct?
@@cyklone727 no
@ thanks happy to hear that
would be nice to be able to explore the Ministry of Magic area with shops and interactive area rather than just a glorified queue
i hope they have the kitty plates in her office
Great video! But it abruptly cut off at the end.
OMG that’s so confusing to me, the final cut had the full video, oh well :/ thanks for letting me know 😄

All we know is that it is using a new ride system
They said it's nothing like tower of terror
those seats look to comfortable
I’m skeptical that the seats are actually synthetic leather since they could be hard plastic mimicking leather.

the seats are hard they just look soft

Thematically it doesn't. Just realized this

It’s magic.
6:33 not unfortunate it’s good, we no like em
Its sadly a glorified Race Through New York ride system..but also think Spiderman.
Hey look AI bs
Oh good, more Harry Potter. 🤦♂️
Greedy disney is going to suffer! Lol
