The combo tool on the bantam could squeeze in one more thing with an easy tweak from the manufacturer The underbelly of the cap lifter has a semicircle cut out of it like all cap lifters but I propose they shape that to take 1/4” hex bits. Also I’m surprised they haven’t replaced the cadets two openers with this one tool giving it room for one more small tool

That can opener is excellent but you need to give it some more love. No need to lift the opener from the rim at every stroke, it’s better if you work continuously otherwise. Also, cut the entire lid other than prying it open with a quarter of the work left. Excellent review otherwise and great knife. One can’t go wrong with a Victorinox.
just add some scissors and that would be absolutely perfect for me, nothing I have come to realise that i only really use blades scissors and a can opener these days, no need for a full size SAK. thanks for the demonstration
But that would defeat the object by making it a 2 layer sak instead of the minimalist single layer. I have this and it's perfect for what it is. I agree with you about the scissors though, but do it to the Cadet by removing both the bottle opener and can opener and adding the combo tool and scissors. It would still be a 2 layer sak but with blade, scissors, combo tool and nail file. Or do it to the Pioneer and instead of file it would have an awl

We have three Bantams and we take to anywhere we go. The tools are good. For the can opener you just need some practice. I would not cut too deep into the lid but just enough for the opener to slide backwards wirhout having to lift with every new cut. I also have a Spartan. Just great knives....SAK....
