    with the fur marking are those coyote Fox hybrids as the first seems to be very close to that of a fox thick and fluffy by the looks of it or is that a yote's winter coat

    Great footage. Where could I find how to train dogs those commands to go out, to come in, to tease the coyote closer. It's amazing the dogs can do this when the coyote knows you are there.
    Also, that 'type' of dog (just going by the dogs appearance) seems popular as a decoy dog. What breed or mix are your dogs?
    Thanks very much!

      Brett Kliethermes I purchased mine through The Gun Bunker out of Jefferson City. Justin will take care of you. You just have to do the paperwork and go through the long waiting period. It does not effect your accuracy at all. It will be the best money you've ever spent. I wouldn't shoot without one. Love it !

    Are the dogs there to kind of lure the coyotes in closer?

    • @jkpipe1
      @jkpipe1  6 лет назад

      Trevor Jackson yes. They are decoy dogs. Call the coyote in then sick the dogs on it. They chase it out a little then they come back to me and the coyote follows hopefully in for a close shot.

      Thank you for your reply. Also, do you have any experience you can share about how the 22-250 compares to a bolt action .223, and also a .204 ruger? One of my main objectives is to be able to see the hits though the scope without it going black on me.
      Thanks again.

    • @jkpipe1
      @jkpipe1  6 лет назад

      outdoor adventures my 22-250 is a bolt action rifle.

    • @outdooradventures1696
      @outdooradventures1696 6 лет назад

      i may not have worded my last question with the best grammar. I am definitely aware that your 22-250 is a bolt action. i was referring to a bolt action .223 as opposed to an ar-15 style of 223. Mainly i am trying to pick out a new rifle that will hit hard on coyotes but yet be mild enough on recoil to allow me to see the hits through the scope.
      Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks a million.

    • @jkpipe1
      @jkpipe1  6 лет назад

      outdoor adventures the AR has lighter recoil but the 22-250 has a lot more knock down power. I hunt with both. You will like either one. AR provides quicker follow up shots that's why I like it. But my pick would be The 22-250 bolt rifle.

      no problem there,,these dogs are big enough to handle a coyote,,,,my older pup i just had to put down last fall was a real sweetie with coyotes. Every few months she would go out to meet them and bring one back. It was always well chewed,,,like hamburger inside a skin,,,,nothing solid left inside. Id not known she had left the house, day or night, but she would bring it up and show me her great hunting skills. She was a 110lb rottweiler,,,sweet Rosie,,,wouldnt hurt a fly,,,,,just sayin,,,,

    Interesting concept using your dog's to "play" with the coyotes and help bring them in. Was worried they would get in the way, however if it works for you, well done nice shooting fella😉

    Coyotes are probably drawn to your field to feast on mice and other critters. Why do you shoot them? Is it just for target practice, or do you also have livestock that are threatened by coyotes?
