The cool thing is that this relationship continues in the show, and any time you see Tweak with Craig in a scene his jitteriness is gone, because Craig actually calms him down :-) I think this episode showed the other side of societal pressure, you're left with this question of "Wait so they're going along with it?" But if you flipped the expectation that people should be straight and how this can be forced on a gay person to make them act straight and be with someone they're not actually attracted to, you start to see what it can be like having to behave a certain way because everyone else expects it. But it's not even like the whole world has flipped, Craig's dad is wrestling with his son's identity, showing that it's possible to support something/be an ally, but then when it directly affects someone near you the feeling and stakes are different. I think it's one of South Park's great qualities, framing issues through their comedy and I love this episode for it.
@@DaBroSquad He doesnt say "not everyone should be straight" and the point of the episodes is that they actually started liking each other after what was a joke relationship. Even in the Post Covid special is shows they grow up married.

Same, that's what i thought too- and in a way, it can really seem like that at first. But the thing is that Craig initially rejected Tweek's proposal to say they're back together, which he accepted firmly. And it could've ended there- but what changed Craig's mind, while he was laying sad in his bed, is when his father came up to him and told him that he is supportive of him being gay, which is what prompts him to get together with Tweek, apparently. So it more seemed like he was struggling with some form of internalized homophobia, rather than being straight and forced into it all. Yaoi, also known by the wasei-eigo construction boys' love and its abbreviation BL, is a genre of fictional media originating in Japan that features homoerotic relationships between male characters. but its ok that you weren't away especially if you're a reactor it makes the shock value more interesting.
There's a theory going around that Cartman is gay and if you look at past episodes, there's quite a bit of evidence to give the theory credence. A good example is Cartman Sucks and the Imaginationland Trilogy.

You should watch S21E2, "Put it Down" next. It's a WILD one, and has Tweek & Craig too.
(Context for season 21 - Mr Garrison is the president, Cartman has a nice girlfriend that he emotionally manipulates)
but these Asian kids keep drawing 😂😂
Yeah the fans were drawing pictures of Tweek X Craig so they made an entire episode on it lol
The shit these kids go through is insanity!
Okay now do Put It Down! Season 21 Ep 2. It’s mostly about Craig and Tweek with a very funny Cartman side plot and two awesome songs.
Tweek and Craig actually end up being gay and dating, so apparently the Asians had them all figured out lol.
Honestly the trump mocking and cartman suicide plotline kinda carry that episode. The rest is safe and boring.
Butters is wearing a neck brace because in the Safe Space episode, he jumped out the 2nd story window
spoilers if u haven’t watched south park
‘IM NOT GAY’ after a eternity: *craig starts calling tweek honey babe (I think) and other stuff*
butters is wearing a neck brace because a few episodes ago he was tasked to get rid of the bad comments for people who post themselves on the Internet. Apparently it was too much for him, and he jumped off the second story window because of the man a.k.a. reality.
Watch Safe Space to see why Butters is wearing a neck brace
This is my favorite episode of the series ❤ maybe not the best or funniest but something/everything about it is so hilariously perfect to me.
Yaoi is a genre of manga also known as "boys love." It's literally gay comics
BEST. CHRISTMAS GIFT. EVER.
Cartman was digging for gold 😂
How tf is Kyle, Tweek and Craig all have the same voice actor! 🤪
1:59 made me die-
I love when people who don't know anything about Yaoi are also confused as the south park characters 🤣
Honestly craig should have said there bi then break up. That would've solved it
But then we couldn't get the dramatic "say something". Plus I'm a yaoi fan so seeing the sad one is funny.
Tweek: 💢
Craig: Oh Hell No
they are now canonily gay
I love tweak tweek
*tweek tweak
1) PC principal is one of the best characters. I'm def someone that cares about human rights irl and you'd think I hate him but he reminds me of many teachers I had growing up and it cracks me up.
2) this particular season is one of the very few where you should watch in order but this episode on its own you can watch without knowing that much of the previous eps
3) South Park is one of those shows where I don't "ship" characters but I make an exception for Tweek and Craig
Just here to suggest the Casa Bonita episode again
This episode solidified the fact for me that Cartman is GAY AS FUCK
Yaoi, also known by the wasei-eigo construction boys' love and its abbreviation BL, is a genre of fictional media originating in Japan that features homoerotic relationships between male characters. but its ok that you weren't away especially if you're a reactor it makes the shock value more interesting.
Craig is clearly the top in that relationship
Bro they're 9-10?!????
It was confirmed that he is the "man" in the relationship
@@satandyke I’m genounely curious how and when was this
they're children
@@matvyu it was in an interview im pretty sure😭😭
omg there’s a Craig x Michael Jordan? No wayy
4:29 "Silly music"
Disfun:😐
Craig and Tweek watch on the yaoi art
Disfun:😨
Music: AHHAHAHAHHA LAUGH PPL HYAHAHAHA
I meant to tell you when you asked tweak is always tweakin because his parents got him addicted to coffee 😅
Coffee with meth in it as per the first video game lol
*Tweek
Fact: in post covid sp they are gets happy married:D they are honestly canon gays
You should watche the pandemic 2 parter. The one with peru in it. Craig is hella funny there.
Yessss Pandemic 1 and 2 are great Craig episodes.
There's a theory going around that Cartman is gay and if you look at past episodes, there's quite a bit of evidence to give the theory credence. A good example is Cartman Sucks and the Imaginationland Trilogy.
I think imagination land was more of a power thing for cartman lol either way still kinda true
I think it’s more of he likes no one he clearly dislikes anyone including boys and girls also with the imagination land it was more of a way to show that Kyle’s a looser and they are 10 don’t forget
creek is actually cute if you think about it
@ 1:40 -= It was at this moment, Naruto knew he faced a fingerless Thousands Years of Death from Sasuke!?! >XD
I'm queer, I dable in HOMOSEXUALITY. But this is super gay. 😂
Butters fell out of the window. That’s why he had a neck brace the whole season.
This is a metaphor to how society is making children feel as though they are something they are not and confusing them
Butters got that from the episode in season 19.
Cupid Cartman is not imaginary, but he can't be seen by others
The Cissy is a great episode too
Another fun fact: Tweek and Craig have the same voice actor. I find this really weird.
10:33 wth he's talking about?!
being gay is the best way to get chicks, you become a "gay friend" and after that you're saying that "i don't sure that im gay because i think i love you" and you get the chick (unless you're to unattractive and then you better being gay anyway lol)
Thank you for reacting to thos episode!
Butters is in a neck brace because of stuff that happened in the previous episode (Season 19 episode 5) safe space
If he likes Craig not giving af, someone should show him the Pan American Band episode
thank you.
7:22 Eric is just so thrilled at the fight, he spontaneously feels human connection. XD
Please do the chickenpox episode it's hilarious!
I'm Asian (Filipino) but I don't do that
