How long do you dry out the huli before you can replant them? Or can you treat them with cinnamon and plant right away? I have a nice couple of stands in my Texas backyard but would like to start them in other areas of my yard. My grandma was born in Hana by the way!
I dry my huli for about a day or until the wetness dries. Also if you wish to disinfect them you can soak them in a mixture of 1 part bleach to 10 parts water for about 3 minutes. I also use hydrogen peroxide full strength (3%) for about the same time instead of the bleach mixture. I'm not familiar with the cinnamon treatment. Good luck with your planting!

@@doctorrxnostrum7816ok, thanks! The peroxide sounds safer to me. Cinnamon is my goto when I’m out of other disinfectants.
