Impressive run! I'm just starting this mode myself and this has been helpful to see. I like your other videos with commentary too. The maneuvering on the last phase of boss 3 was crazy. Those dodges at 12:44 (dodging the green beetles + all the popcorn shots) are crazy too. I don't know how I'm ever going to be able to do those sections consistently. The pairs of green beetles on all the other (easier) modes seemed so reasonable compared to this lol. At least this mode has a training mode.
@@Cyarc I ended up finding a pretty consistent way through! If you start on the right beetle, go up towards the beetle then dodge down diagonally towards the other beetle after they take aim, you can mostly macro dodge the right beetle while micro dodging the left one, and clearing the popcorn on the left. Then you repeat this starting on the left side and so on (alternating each time). Somehow it works out where you don't end up needing to micro dodge any of the popcorn shots and you can just focus on dodging one beetle's shots.

Yeah I hate those beetles too, some luck is needed to get through those unscathed!

Have you tried 1.5 Maniac MAX? It may be my favorite mode now. I am really close but I bet you could do it if you can 2 miss 1.0 Maniac!
