@S: Many thanks for coming back to the screen. I admire (and envy) you a lot for knowing both sides of the same coin: Model and photographer.
@P: You have mentioned BW versus color. In my case, since usually planned photos don’t work, I depend on what I see, so (unfortunately) I’m driven by eyes instead of by brain; and what I see is mainly related to shapes, so I feel a little bit like betraying my brain if I add color, in these cases. Let me put an example: if one early morning I see the blue sea being decorated by golden solar rays, the photograph must be in color, but if I instead see a bird flying low over the sea, the photograph must be in BW. Otherwise, in both cases, I would be cheating, cheating to whom? To myself, because I consider my photographs as a dump of by brain.
@P: Have you realized that S has asked you for your preferred shot both, process and end picture, and you have spent most of the time talking about the process case? Do you know anybody from your audience that likes a lot the “process”, aka BTS?
@S&@P: Very interesting question the preferred country for photo sessions. I like a lot those countries where there is freedom of expression, that I think is directly related to the level of development, education and respect they promote.
Loved the episode Peter. It was very relaxed and flowing conversation. It was as laid back as that old couch you’re sitting on. It was nice to get to see Shai’s personality and viewpoint. Beauty is always enhanced and comes through in photographs when the model is intelligent and has real depth. It shows in their eyes.

Much as I enjoy the regular podcasts with Bec I find these chats with other models just as good. It's always interesting to hear your stories about shoots because I can now relate to them, having done a number of shoots myself over the years, although at an amateur level. I've now reached the point where models are reaching out to me because they've seen my work with models they follow. I recently did a woodland shoot here in the UK during bluebells season. It's so beautiful right now - the flowers carpet the woodland floor. Anyway, on our shoot there were people about and even another photographer appeared with a model and we both just got on with what we were doing. Models being nude is ok, it's just the intent that's the important aspect. We're just there to create beautiful images. I'm waffling now so I'll leave it there. Looking forward to the next podcast!

i had to do a double take, to ensure it was Peter. he didnt have his trademark 'photo t-shirt' on.
i dont recall any Fabrege jeans; they might never have made it to my small corner of the world. but i DO remember Jordache jeans with Brooke Shields. very tight on the back side but not so much skinny jeans. i DEFINITELY think they those are so-wrong for guys. Claudia Schiffer and her Guess jeans was my celebrity crush for a while in '88 and '89.
