This channel might be my new favourite Cities Skylines channel. Your build is beautiful, and to be overdramatic as hell, gets me kind of emotional. It is stunning and yet doesn't sacrifice the needs of the people living in the city. This channel is something else. I love it!
With the level of detail you guys are giving to this map, I can’t wait to see the downtown area or even a rich area where the rich and famous live like Beverly Hills
I just love that little neighborhood you just built. It looks so realistic and inviting. I can't hardly wait to see what you do with a "downtown" area with trams running around too. I can just see it with some ROLLING HILLS like San Francisco or something. I'm sure anything you decide to do will be just beautiful.
Not gonna lie, I stumbled upon you and thought you were one of the BIG cities RUclipsrs. Just now found out you’re still relatively small, which shocks me because you hold yourself and portray yourself as a City Planner Plays and Biffa! Keep up the good work, excited for the future of your videos!
Normally, I think YT'ers overdo the landscaping and don't give empty fields and green grasses their due respect, but I love your landscaping in this episode. Very stately looking.
The only thing that drove me nuts this episode is that battery station. It is so close to those power lines but you run it underground. You should have just connected it from the power line above ground like the connections intended. It would just make more sense. But that’s just my OCD kicking in. Pleasure as always to watch you!
Tip for placing Row Houses to give them a modern townhouse look rather than the monotonous look of being alongside each other. Lay down some 2L streets an odd number of cells apart of desired length. The idea is to have an alley serving 3, 4 or 5 cells both sides of the alley. Call this a unit if you like. Your streets can be multiple "units" apart and will need multiple alleys between the streets. So, if you have 4 cell spacing, lay down a row house of 3 cells at the start of the first street. Then lay down the next row house 1 cell in but fronting the alley rather than the street, then 3 on the street, 3 on the alley and so on. Do the same on the other side of the ally and repeat to the end of the block. You'll end up with a zipper like construction of alternate fronting row houses. Detail with a tree in the unused cell between houses. I use European row houses as I think they look more modern than the American ones. Similarly, with low density residential, alternate between European and Americal styles of 4 x 4 and 4 x 3, one cell apart. Again, detail the area behind the houses with trees as well as the cell/s between houses fronting the streets. This will create a beautiful "leafy" low res suburb that any sim would want to live in. Once you get the idea of this alternating technique, you can play with "lot" sizes and style to your hearts content. Enjoy!
Really cool concept, this. I will definitely have to play around with that one. I’m always thinking about ways to break up the monotony of having everything lined up in a neat row, so thanks for this great suggestion! 🙂👍🏼
Been loving your series! Maybe for episode 15 (either instead of the episode that week or as a bonus) have a compilation of the cinematic shots that are at the end to see the growth?
Every video I watch you put down stuff and think "This looks good", at the end of timelapse I am like "Wow, this looks amazing". Keep us the good work Mr. Sculptor.
It's a real therapy for me to watch your videos man especially when i came home after work time, best stress relief. Also u deserve to be on top in terms of views and i hope u become. Keep on the good content. Best regards.
Man I love your energy, love your voice, love your creativity & skills! Your graphic settings are top notch! So clear and all shiney!! You gonna reach 1M subscription mark pretty quickly ❤
I am a big cities skylines fan, I see hundreds of videos of this game but the way you put detailing in your videos is just awesome ,I can easily say that you are one of the best gamer ,I just love your videos. Recently addicted to your videos😄. Love from India bro❤.
I would've connected the battery station with above ground power lines. Otherwise the visible connection on the asset goes unused and it looks like it's disconnected.
Hey there! Great questions. No mods used here. I do use the in game cinematic camera mode and bump up the settings on post exposure, contrast, and saturation in my intro, outro, and cinematic segments. Just to give it more pop. 🙂
Great question. I tend to run many of the graphics set to the upper end of quality, since I am running an nVidia 4080 GPU. With the most recent updates, things seem to be running quite smoothly. 🙂
As a person of mixed race ancestry, I may not perceive color lines the way some others may. Beauty and affluence are not exclusive to one group of people. Pengasas Bay is intended to be a lovely, colorblind city, open to all. If that makes you feel “ick”, well… 🤷🏽♂️
@@CitySculptor yea i mean maybe. are you american? cause here economic inequality is ever present and very obvious unfortunately. i get that you’re trying to make a city without that historical context
hey man, i found your channel 2 days ago and binge watched the whole series so far, its soooo good. Keep up the good work man, your detailing is nuts
Hey thank you! Welcome to the channel!

Thank you for the kind words! Much appreciated. 🙂
I'm convinced City Sculptor is Bob Ross if he played CS2! Love it! Great work, as always!
Well, I'm flattered by that compliment. Bob was an icon, for sure. Many thanks. 😉

Thank you, CM! We’re definitely going to be working in trams down there. I’m looking forward to playing around with those. 🙂
@@CitySculptor I just love having them in my city too. I have them running along a river front and they're just so cute!
I just loaded my internet because I saw your video, it's very fascinating playing the whole series❤❤❤ keep it up from the Philippines here😊

Hey, thank you for the compliment! Still learning the ropes, and honored to be mentioned with creators like that. 🙂

Great build man!
Thank you!
Good job man... i found this channel today, but i watched all episodes please extend underwater railway 😁
Again - love your builds. My top 3 city skylines builder
Top 3? Whoa, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Top 5, maybe. 😉😄 Thanks for the great comment!

Oh good, I thought you forgot about the south pier rail line 🤣
You make beautifall build😮
That dude is the Bob Ross of Cities 2
😄
CPP has some competition 😂😂
Let’s not get carried away, now.
Great build man. I think it would've been a good opportunity to use the grocery store unique commercial building, what do you think?
Totally agree, but I don’t have it unlocked yet! 😄😉. Great call out. Thanks!
Where are you from you got ideas about buildings and this ultimate architecture
United States, upper Midwest.
What are your lighting settings and are you using mods to make it look better?
Hey there! Great questions. No mods used here. I do use the in game cinematic camera mode and bump up the settings on post exposure, contrast, and saturation in my intro, outro, and cinematic segments. Just to give it more pop. 🙂
Please, can someone tell which mods are used ? specially about the trees please.
No mods used here. Strictly the base game. 🙂
you should really start recording in 4k or 1440p if you can. Your builds are too nice not to be seen in 4k lol
Love the idea. Gonna need more storage for that, though. Those files get awfully large! Maybe someday we’ll get there. Crawl, walk, run. 😀😛
@CitySculptor you will get there 100% keep up with the good work and will pay up eventually
In your little town there are no schools nore fire or police station.
All of those services are just on the other side of the freeway in Crestwind Cape. 🙂
Is there any place to download these save files?
Not presently, however I'm exploring that for the future. Thanks for the question!

graphic settings?
Great question. I tend to run many of the graphics set to the upper end of quality, since I am running an nVidia 4080 GPU. With the most recent updates, things seem to be running quite smoothly. 🙂
32:57 These crazy expensive neighborhoods give me rich white people vibes and ick

Is your voice AI modulated or natural? 😮
Hehe, natural. 🙂
calling soccer field a “soccer pitch” pisses off both americans and brits lmao (football and field)
I’m 2 for 2, then! 😄😉
