Super glad I passed on this no backdrop no chainsaw no base looks like a toy
Back drop was never mentioned to be included im going to do my own backdrop tho. It was mentioned however, that a chainsaw would be added to this (talked about) this isn’t an issue to me as I bought both versions. 🔥. As far as base , I’m going to form up my own nice museum base to go under it. Going to make it a semi circle with the flat part obviously going towards the wall .
Original myers actor was actually only 5 foot 10. Gunnar Hansen (leather face) was 6 foot 4 looks under scaled
I don't think he is under scale, what is the height of leatherface alone. He looks taller than Myers, just he is on a lower base. I agree with the comment about making a concrete slab as an under base, that would look sick, and adding a background to the doorway may look cool.
You could do a custom cement slab to give it a height and a more realistic bottom base and it would be a good idea and cheap because you could do it yourself

the Michael Myers on the stair case is my favorite piece I've ever seen.
From my unbiased judgment I feel the old Sideshow 1/4 Leatherface might be better. Just speaking on details and what you get with it. Old SS piece had the chainsaw and the nice detailed base that told a story. Idk about this one. Looks like it should've cost like $600. But glad you like it. What matters. 👍
I agree the Sideshow one he used to have is better imo
Personally think the best statue PCS put out lately is both their JCVDs. In hand it’s amazing and next to Bruce Lee 1/3 Enter the Dragon, can’t be beat.
You can also tip the box upside down and it would come out that way

LOOKS AWESOME!!! Definitely thin the hair by cutting it , and lightly gel it . Then put a Nice Back Drop with a little creepy led lighting and maybe raise the piece up with an under base ( maybe old wood or a vintage Butcher Wood Board with blood on it .. ✨🌟👌🏻👌🏻

He's way underscaled. Not only height, but he was huge overall. I've always thought this statue looked too skinny

Congrats he looks great. I think many collectors would have preferred sculpted hair. probably would have lowered the coast as well. prime 1 always overscales their pieces thats why he the looks smaller.
Great review. Any idea if PCS will continue there 1:3 horror line to include more slashers or movie characters? The blade piece also looks nice
Not a bad Piece but i like Sideshows Premium Format Version of 2017 way more,you get much more Details and Presence.

I'm torn. I think it looks great, but the hair should have probably been sculpted. I like this scene and mask, but their other leatherface statue is from the more iconic scene at the end with him swinging the chainsaw above his head. Tough decision. For the price, it should have had something behind the door opening and a sub base like you mentioned and maybe a pail to sit beside the door with a pig's head in it.

They did an amazing job weathering the pretty woman clothing. This one not so much. If I had bought this one I’d be weathering down the clothing to look dirtier. Especially the shirt.
Love it, I’m collecting the 1/4 scales myself. Do you think they’ll do Ghost Face in 1/4? As that’s the only one missing from the “main slasher movies”

thank you for the great review. it's too bad the hair is a TOTAL fail,. the real crime is IMO is the scale that can't be fixed 😢😢😢😢 Anthony at PCS is a nice guy, I hope he has serious conversation with himself or ever is in charge of printing and production. this is a sad day for me.... Please PCS make this right .

I hate when you have to tie a miniature tie, there’s a few Ledger Jokers you have to do that with
Yeah it's not easy at all
The best way to do a tie for a statue get something get a wooden spoon do the tie on that have someone hold it stand behind it and tie it on that make sure the hole is big enough to fit on the statue than stand in front of it and just tighten it up

Yeah I’m pissed that it’s under scaled. Still works but yeah definitely irritating. Everything else besides the hair is pretty good.
They should have included the chain saw, and also tie should have been sculpted. Otherwise, nice addition.
