But i realise only one thing that this plane was more than 20 yrs. Old. And pilat safely crashed plane and safely ejected within second time available. Rest my knowledge seized. I had the pleasure of seeing Air Marshall Bedi along with other serving and retired Air Marshalls during the DSCI event in Gurgaon, the depth of knowledge brought on by him and the other Panelists was phenomenal.

Sand particles in air may possibly be one of the cause of malfunction. I remember sand particles was the cause of jaguar crashes. In fact, sand particles blocked the computerised function.
As an instructor on the Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS), and having authored a reference book on investigative processes, I was particularly impressed by the Air Marshal's deep understanding of HFACS as an integral part of the Indian Air Force's Court of Inquiry. He emphatically acknowledged that most accidents stem from human errors, and he highlighted how HFACS effectively identifies the sources of these errors, offering clear insights into their root causes. This understanding facilitates the development of targeted interventions to prevent future incidents.

Air Marshal GS Bedi is one smart young man, thoughtful & articulate. He didn't leave 'Human Error ' to the imagination of the public. Air Marshal clearly explained all aspects from 'design maintenance assembly quality-control' etc. I was transfixed, listening to the various fighter jets like Tejas Rafael Python MK1A & more. Loved the joke on 'dreaming of Rafael....kicked out....'. Solar panels? 💖🎀🪔🌺💐🌹

Not specified quantity of oil left in the oil tank , oil cap installation error, oil temperature and pressure issue.
I understand due to some reason shortage of oil lead this crash .
Air Marshal Bedi is a pleasure to listen to. His emphasis on the facts so clear that one tends to feel proud that our Airforce top leadership is/was top quality. Unlike the general bureaucracy which is mostly very low quality and steep into babugiri. This level of professionalism I guess leads to us being able to achieve the dare devil missions that we the general public is told about. Hats off Sir! Kudos Aadi.
the glade slope is unpredictable in a fight as there are so many variation, ( wind direction, weight, height, payload and few more) I am a qualified pilot.

Anyways I wait for investigation because I Live besides a place where army practices Tejas, I have seen it's capacity. I have seen Tejas vanish in sky in 4 seconds literally. So I know the complexities and decision making period.

Prototype get crash but fighter made safety ejection of it human partner and made a crash in non residential area this shows the hard work of Indian workers and expert every one in world can use this safe fighter plane
I like the content of your videos, and am keen to know your perspective and the insights from knowledge & experience of your guests, however I just don't have the time to spare for long videos/podcasts so keep saving the lengthy ones for later & then don't get around to viewing them. I typically use this media as a digital newspaper where I view the day's news, work related videos, and then watch a couple of videos of channels I follow.... Is there anything that can be done about the length or the format or is it possible to have shorter clips of your hour long videos like on other youtube channels? Thank you to for the timestamps in this video though!
Needs a thorough investigation, fixing the problem and redesign for safety. It is to improve the jet ultimately.

Mig was being maintained by Russian at hal nashik.

Really enjoyed the talk due to its depth. Actually started viewing with the expectation to know the exact reason of the crash ( got deceived due to the title 🙂) . Is there any time line fixed by the IAF and the defense ministry for such types of enquiries?
Do they sometimes avoid making it public as the outcome of the enquiry may not be in the favour of the national security.?

Extremely informative Sir! My question is with regards to the inadequacy behind an advanced stealth aircraft like the F22 “Raptor”, why has USA stopped any further production of the same since
it was purported as the best stealth fighter in its class? And secondly, how real is the Indian dream of developing its very own 5th Gen AMCA? In terms of critical equipment like engine, avionics and stealth capabilities?

Air Marshal sir can performance of aircraft engin monitored from ground?I understand that Boing & General electric monitors all airborne aircraft engine from ground.
Venkat ji yes its possible to monitor and get all parameters from the aircraft, but there should be connectivity.

Sirji if it failure of lubricant, then it will also indicate before geting zero is it so?
but that is considered too late when you are airborne. The lubricant system hoses should be tested pressure tested at regular intervals depending on the criticality of the equipment and part in the equipment.

There could be a technical issue with the aircraft and from the past we have seen all the iaf pilots are very cautious n care for their aircrafts .

How do we know there may be a stealth version and a nonstealth version of the same j20 or other stealth fighter aircraft flying in the peace time .We need to develop techniqies to callibrate the stealth reflection as well as understand how stealth coating is carried on their different versions of the same airframes in interest .

Are fighter planes have pressure lubrication system ? If it have than lubrication pump failure may be one reason for engine sieger.
