That last scene with taiju with tears in his eyes when threatening to kill his sister reminds me of how last season ended when kisaki was looking down on takemichi with tears in his eyes right before planning to kill him. Even the angle is the same. I wonder if this was an intentional parallel or I'm just reaching

The best part of this anime/manga is how relatable that characters are. They are mostly characters that feel real because they don't want to burden the people around them and that's pretty typical in our society. We can joke about Takemitchy being weak and useless, but he is the humanity that guides the story, even if he isn't smart.

I kind of get what Talemichy did. To be fair, breaking up with Hina might be what kept her alive for all those years until he came back to the present. So what Im trying to say, imagine that dont breaking up with her, lead to a future where she has been dead for years cause she didnt stay away from him, so you wouldn't have a single clue of wich event in the past (after breaking up with her) will lead to her unknown death
I agree with what you say, besides that in the original timeline, takemichi did not intervene in the hakkai family and therefore the future that we all already saw was given. So this time it might change something in the future since Toman will not be involved with Black Dragon
I really spent the whole episode going, ‘someone has to clean that up’ fighting in the church. Taiju right now embodying the meme that goes:

I loved this arc because firstly, it introduces Koko and Inui but also how much it changes for the arc's to come. I feel like the Black Dragons Arc is a really good build up for the rest of the series.

People saying Takemitchy is stupid because he broke up with Hina last episode are missing the point. If Hina dies in the past there's literally no saving her. If he chose to stay with her just in the sake of "trying something different" and then she died because she was around him in the past, people would be getting on his ass for being stupid. Him breaking up with her here pretty much guarantees she sees adulthood at least. And again, it's not like he can't change the future...he can still change it by preventing the Hakkai situation.
They completely missed the point but that’s okay. We all miss something sometimes. I understand their logic behind why they feel like it’s stupid just personally I don’t think the breakup is what leads her to die. The only consistent problem seems like Kisaki existing and Mikey losing control over the gang that ultimately leads to her death. A breakup isn’t that big of a deal honestly probably kept her alive until adulthood actually

He knew from takemichi *himself* how kisaki is a snake and can’t be trusted, yet takemichi still fully trusted kisaki. Chifuyu not trusting kisaki is why he was able to plan ahead and call mitsuya ahead of time. Chifuyu at 13 had a higher iq than takemichi at 26, without him he’d be screwed
Takemichi has no choice but to work with Kisaki since Kisaki has the money and has a lot of connections.
Let's just say this secret that's being teased will reveal the strongest character of the arc.

So Kisaki wanted to control Hakkai and the black dragons and get rid of Taiju, he did this by manipulating Yuzuha. In the future, Kisaki controls Hakkai by blackmailing him that Yuzuha will go to jail if he does anything wrong.

Idk this is a wild theory but is Hakkai the one who was abusing Yuzuha? There's this super ominous hint from this epi but also when Mitsuya came to make the deal Taiju was real smug and claimed that he never touched her. 3. When he told Hakkai to kill Takemitchy it felt like he was used to telling Hakkai to hurt someone. Maybe as someone who was abused and made to think of it as love for a time Hakkai could have been transferring all to his sister.

Why didn’t the shiba siblings call the police on hakkai? Or anyone who knew of the abuse? That’s the best decision but I guess they care more about not snitching and crew code. Also I feel hakkai didn’t want to confront his brother due to the secret, that’s why he and yuzuha went for the kill because he has dirt on hakkai and he keeps abusing them.
I just wonder how hakkai could freely join toman and not be forced by Taiju to join black dragons all this time. Misuya must have had a lot of influence and help for that to have happened as hakkai is afraid of taiju.

Taiju dying is what leads to hakkai becoming the leader and teaming up with Kisaki which morphs into toman which leads to hina dying in the timeline that needs to be fixed (not the breakup) so unfortunately Taiju cannot die no matter how horrible he is. This was explained and made obvious from the beginning of the season. Something about black dragon second in command is shady too (he seems similar to Kisaki) so in order to avoid him taking charge Taiju would still have to be around as well.
