Thanks for the outstand video my friend . Nothing like the smell and sound of a nitro burning dragster or funny car from the days of REAL drag racing. I run alcohol in my blown historic Model A drage coupe. Who knows? aA load of nitro my happen. LOL.
The C3 Corvette with a Flatty Ford running triple carbs makes up for the thousands of 30’s Ford’s running Small Block Chevy’s! I love Flat Head Ford engines and seeing one in a C3 Corvette is fantastic!
Sooner or later somebody will get hurt at the "Burnout Party". It's happened before, other places and that was the end of that particular event. I've been there.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Cars were only a couple feet apart from each other and only a few feet from all of the idiots standing on the side of the road. Just waiting to be hit.
OMG... This is so AWESOME !!! I USE TO LIVE THERE AND WENT EVERY YEAR. PHILLIPS LANE WAS ALWAYS THE PLACE TO B ON FRIDAY/SATURDAY NIGHT. GLAD U GOT TO GO AND ALWAYS LOVE THE VIDEOS MY FRIEND . 😁
Thanks, For Takin' us along! Wow, Scary! At least 4 idiots just need to not do burn outs even in them type of public gatherings🤔😞🙄🦨🤡🤪😱 And, 5. The one wherever the Cop was heading😁😂🤣 Hope, all innocents were OK👍💪🍺🦅🦅🦅 THNX!
Sure wish I could have made it this year I live in Louisville missed because of covid so glad to be over that and find this video it nothing like being there though
Awesome stuff Tommy Lee! I was there on Saturday, walked 12 miles and still only saw about half the rides there. You're right, some stuff wasn't appropriate but, unfortunately time marches on. Still a fantastic show. I'm staying to watch burnouts next year!
Great video as always. Have you ever been to cruising the coast in Biloxi Mississippi? You could get alot of videos down there. Last year there was over 8 thousand cars down there. It's a great place to go if you have never been and love classic cars.

The one thing wrong about this video is the people over doing the burnout and doing a big sitter, when you make too much smoke the person in front can’t see and then it makes it dangerous to do a burnout because he can’t see what’s around him and then everyone else has to wait.

Great video. Definitely not a fan of public burnouts. Guilty of doing same, but experience has always prevented incident. The parade of burnouts is not exactly a pre-screen processing of those able to handle their vehicle's shenanigans. No barricades .. even more cringe worthy. Cool video, I personally don't care for the burnouts on the street, but I'm sure a lot of people like it. So that's where I stopped watching. Crazy to see a flathead in a late 70's Vette!!!!
Thought I was the only one that did not like doing burnouts!! They get too expensive when you have to replace tires, rebuild transmissions, replace broken driveshafts and U joints and the list goes on and on!! If you’ve seen one burnout, then you’ve seen them all!!! They are all the same, they are loud and smokie and usually include lots of silly hootin and hollerin from intoxicated idiots, lol I’m surprised and relieved that there’s at least one more like myself out here that doesn’t enjoy them. I always had too much money invested in my cars to risk tearing them up or ruining a set of perfectly good tires!!
Wow, that 30's ford pickup is extremely awesome....thanks for sharing!! God Bless!!

Great video man. As usual.
You should try and make it up here to Michigan for the Woodward Dream Cruise it’s held every August usually the 3rd weekend
Burnouts remind me of high school.

I have a picture of that black 34 Ford truck in the 80s at a Birmingham show.

I'm amazed, Mustangs doing burnouts and no bodies flying through the air. Impressive.
