I found a series 1 starter at walmart for $9 this week. Picked it up and now i’m hooked! Series 2 and some boosters purchases at Target today, it’s really fun
Great video Jay! You've convinced me 😅 The gameplay looks really fun and simple but with some depth to the decisions. It's really hard to get here in Canada tough. Hopefully, they'll make the game more available with the upcoming set... or I'll have to stop by at a Target next time I visit the States 😅
For a Funko game it's surprisingly designed really well. The minis are awesome, as I would expect from Funko. I'm really hoping series 2 fixes the balance issues that were present in series 1.
Do you have everything from Series 1? Is there a character(s) you need, and locations you don't have yet? Personally missing Tarkin, location 24, 13, 5. On another note, My Target, and multiple other Targets had the Series 2 main box, but no booster boxes. When employees looked on thier device they said there wasn't any item/code that shows any are being ordered. Curious if you encountered this, or just ordered online and got them.
And another strange point, no Target had Series 1 stuff, but Walmarts did. One Wally had the main box discounted down to $14.50, but the boosters still at $4.97. Another location had the main box at $3.00 (not a typo), and the boosters still at $4.97; if you were to do the comparison markdown of the main box to the boosters, the boosters should be $0.75! Not sure I could have argued that.
Trying to figure out what's up with series 2, got the starter and ~25 boosters from various Targets/Target online. Now it seems to have disappeared online in app/website and was never available from any other retailer (including Funko's own shop). edit: LOL and you pulled all 3 of the dark side characters that I'm missing 👿
The boxes of the miniatures are random? That's weird and feels like an artificial inflation system. And those weird shaped cards are kinda cool, but I like to sleeve boardgame cards when I can. This game seems interesting, but for a very specific audience.

We use the miniatures as initiative tokens in Star Wars Unlimited, somebody told me they weren’t making a series 2 and I’m glad that’s not true.
