DO YOU THINK FINIDI GEORGE IS THE RIGHT MAN FOR THE JOB?

Finidi George has been appointed as the new head coach of the Super Eagles. He takes up the job from Jose Peseiro who was able to get the Super Eagles to the finals of the AFCON 2023. His first official assignment will be to qualify the Super Eagles for the World Cup in 2026.

Una dey here dey complain cause Una know am, who knows Pesiero before Super Eagle's job.
I belief if Finidi is given the right support and encouragement, he will deliver the Job. Amunike is still in the coaching team and that shouldn't be a thing to argue about.
It's the environment and system we should be looking at not the coach, even if you bring Mourinho of Chelsea, He may not be able to deliver.

We should have appointed Finidi as coach into one of the junior teams first to see his progression having won the Nigeria professional football league with Enyimba. Amunike should have been appointed as the Super Eagles coach because some players in the team were his U17 team players such as Osimhen, Chukwueze, ndidi etc. It would have been a reunion and these few would have encouraged other guys to play for Amunike and with God on our side, we'll win trophies.

this media people are funny we should pay finidi george 40m per month for a coach who hasnt coach one international tournament successfully in his career . we should set standards for our coaches before we give them appointment keshi took togo to world cup amodu cup winners cup with bcc lions but you want to pay local ocas who doesnt dresser the position 40m per month . no chan no wafu . no European league title win or assistant Ince the bulk of our team is foreign based . but using sentiments to force appointment of coaches .. dont worry we will soon run out 94 members to coach us

Shameful to NFF! Amunike remains the best but for the fact that Finidi can be pushed around, Amunike that has all the basic was over looked! Finidi definitely doesn’t have the personality as super Eagles job😎

Unlikely to qualify for the WC. The NFF must resign if Nigeria fails. Finidi does not have the track record. Worse he has alienated key players. This decision is not in best interest of Nigeria.
