I discovered the portal games about a year ago the ever since then I've been in love with the lore of the games. and the music. these game is timeless.
OH MY GOD THIS IS SO GOOD!! The dramatic darkness when you destroy the first core?? The sinister lighting after that???? That added so much more drama and impact I'm SHOOK. I liked the changes to the end of the fight as well, though I think it ended a bit too quickly? In the original you're forced to take a moment and look upon the destruction of GLaDOS as she ascends in a whirlwind of metal, but here, while everything falling apart (the monitors, the wires) is a nice touch, I think dragging it out for a bit longer would have left a bigger impact But that's the only bit criticism I can give, overall this was *amazing* and 110% an improvement

Would’ve liked to see an additional scene where GLaDOS lays there lifeless but then all of a sudden the reactor above GLaDOS’ chassis goes nuclear and opens up a big portal that sucks everything outside and tears GLaDOS’ chamber to pieces leaving chell outside with pieces of GLaDOS’ chamber, chassis, and other miscellaneous rubble in Aperture’s parking lot then finally have the party escort bot take chell back inside. It would’ve kept this remake 100% true to the storyline/lore.

maby you could remake the beta wheatley boss fight and the part where everybody spits out there water when chell says yes also in your portal charactors size video, you forgot the panels from the rebuilding test chambers.

A lot of the remade maps in Portal 2 don't use the original geometry exactly and it is quite jarring. I would love to just see those maps redone in the portal 2 style but given their original sanitary feel, not broken down
I think it'll be really cool if somebody remade the entirety of portal 1 into portal 2. I could try to make that considering this was possible and I'm getting really good with source engine but I don't know the legality of remaking an entire video game 1 to 1
i believe that during the combine takeover, the surface level of the building takes hits and eventually collapses back into the central core chamber (glados' room)

I loved how the destruction at the end was changed so glados falls instead of flying to the sky
Makes a lot more sense since in portal 2 you see her in the same room where the wake up sequence takes place
