Trains like an animal. Knows his stuff. He actually introduced me to that kneeling pull-down variation (using your knee under the pad for greater stability is awesome). @@GucciManecubus haha we're lucky that our professor gave us a 6 page muscle table that listed insertions, origins, movements and everything in between because he wants us to know how muscles work more than he wants us to spend 4 hours a night making flash cards for 1000+ terms that we might see used on the test. I ended up getting a question right on an online quiz like 5 mins later because he said teres and iliac though 😂😂
@@samr2263 I think you're high. Pullups and pulldowns are great for width. Look back at golden age lifting, they all did super wide grip pullups for lat development, barbell rows, tbar rows for thickness and a single arm row to finish the lats off. Then pullovers to get that mind blowing stretch on the lats and seratus
@@samr2263 pull overs are literally the isolated equivalent to pull ups/downs. Also any rowing variation with the arms not flared out primarily targets the lats
@@anothergymkid9242 pull overs don't train the serratus. It's main function is protraction of the scapula and shoulder extension comes with a slight retraction of the scapula. In general the serratus is active in movements where the arm is brought overhead in vertical or in front of the body in horizontal movements. Push ups with a freely moving scapula, overhead press etc
Man dam..That was like a power point presentation on muscle building 🤯 Hands down the best editing I've seen. Solid advice on muscle building. I gotta give it up. 👏🏽 Between you Sean. I'm about to be 40 natural and I physically look better Tham I ever have. Thank you for helping me out.
The visuals and highlighting effects make it so much easier to truly get an understanding of how to move / what to focus on. Thank you so much for these. I really appreciate the high quality content and effort brother
I use your guides for my workouts and they have helped me from when I started going to the gym to now. You have help me increase in weight and how to train the muscles. Keep it up and thank you.
Everyone has the answers. Just get in there and put in the work. During the pandemic all I have was a pull up bar and rubber bands and it kept me jacked and did my whole back. Overload the muscle time under tension and u will c results with proper form
Thank you so much for the lesson. I have incorporated some of your workouts to my training. You have so much knowledge I basically only take advice from your channel 🙏
I just want to say I love your videos man I know you put a lot of time and effort into this and if you actually did the work the benefits definitely reap I just want to say I love your videos Man
Appreciate this one for the Iliac fibers. Ive been trying your camber bar + d-handle pulldown [my full week of training: day 6) but I've been struggling to isolate. It ends up turning into a tricep and/or shoulder workout instead and then those came to failure before my back did. This kneeling one will be the next version to try!
One of my philosophies is that any given muscle should be worked from all angles possible. That’s why on back day I do horizontal and vertical pulls with varying hand placement. Be sure to target every area

This actually is the best guide on how to build a wider back. He delivered.
No
Pull-ups or pull down
Heavy row
And a single arm row
And pull overs. That’s your back guide
@@anothergymkid9242 Aside from pull-ups, I would say your exercises are about building a thicker back, not wider
