This worked thanks. It is a much better method than using the soliscloud app. I did find it difficult to get the data logger to broadcast it's SID, much pressing of reset button required ! but once the SID was available, the process took minutes to complete.
This comment was very helpful. It was the same for me, I was under the impression that something else was the issue. I think I ended up doing a couple of single taps then a long hold. The amber light went dull when it worked. Hope this helps someone else like it did me.
This is a much better video than the other one showing how to use the app which is way too basic . All the pdf documentation I could find online is way out of date. But I found the datalogger often drops communication on it's own SSID before it's been updated with the new house wifi SSID. Then you have to reset the logger by disconnecting it from the inverter and try again. For me the process only worked with a windows lap top after several attempts, Ipad and Android no success at all. Too much Solis info seems to assume the installer not the plant owner will be doing this type of stuff when you have no chance of getting your installer to come to this type of chicken-sh** job.
Hi - I'm trying to reconnect after setting up a new router. When you say "disconnecting from the inverter", do you mean physically disconnecting or deleting it from Solis? I've pressed the reset switch but the datalogger isn't showing up in my network. On Solis Cloud I can see that the datalogger has the old SSID.
Thanks, just got my new S3 so checking out the change process before the install. This seems much easier than the instructions (which I can hardly read) would suggest. After that I'm not sure if I have to remove the old datalogger on the Solis Cloud app before adding the new, maybe it doesn't matter? I'll see what happens.
I have solis inverter with batteries I have Economy 7 so I charge at night my inverter in my attic so a faf to set up.i am told by solis I can remote control introduced in November 2022 but not able to do it I am using solie cloud.
I have NO IDEA what logger I have - it was installed by my installer with no instructions. Are we just supposed to recognise by sight what our loggers are?
I needed to change my router and no cannot reconnect. I get an error saying password is wrong. I've double checked my input, its not. where do I go from here?
What stick do you have? the very old instructions I found on line says logger user and password is admin admin, whereas new loggers have user admin and password 123456789 , password is same for logger wifi SSID when you go to connect to it. I had to use a windows lap top to get this to work , Android and I pad were a fail.
Why would you put damn annoying music in the background to cause distraction? Is that how your software developers work because their work product is ABYSMAL. I will NEVER use Solis again.

It's really helpful, but i can't see the data logger hotspot in my wifi, I tried to rest the device but doesn't work.
Does this data logger automatically update itself to new firmware or does it have to be done manually?

How to monitor Solis RHI-3P(5-10)K-HVES-5G online? How to connect it to the app? It does datalogger installed in it, right?
It only has a local connection for Bluetooth. You need to purchase a datalogger to see it on the web. Cheers
