Giveaway: mosinmuseum.co... If you have any prayer requests or any mosin nagant questions, please don't hesitate to send me an email! mosinmuseum@gmail.com
Just put in. Love the new name for the channel. Im in the process of building a couple of Mosins. A PEM and a M44. Your videos are one of the reason i started building them.
This, is a cool giveaway Sam. Enjoying watching you grow the channel too btw. Also appreciate the good ole fashion simple production value that dosn't distract from the great educational value you share with us. Keep it up! Sometimes less is more and I mean that in a good way.
When checking the condition of the carbine chamber and the gap between the cartridge cap and the end part of the shutter, the so-called cover and non-covering checkers are used (I don't know if it will sound correct in English). So such checkers had some difference when checking the wear of a particular type of weapon, since the 7.62x53R cartridge was used not only in Mosin - Nagant, but also in Maxim machine guns, as well as in DP-27 and aviation machine guns. For all of them, the operating conditions and the inspection of the degree of wear and fitting of parts during the repair were different. Therefore, various markings were applied to checkpoints and non-pass checkers for these types of weapons. With the fallen Nikolay
Big Sam, can you do a post on: different ammo for Mosins and receiver designations like “D” and what it means. I have a Finnish M24 and M 28/30 that will only take rounds with .308 diameter bullets which some call 7.62x53r, not 54r. And talk about the variation in bullet diameters which are used in Mosins .307-.312. It’s a confusing subject for many of us Mosin owners especially Finnish Mosin owners. Thank you love your videos.
i can see HE (ne) followed by N (i) ... I reckon it either means "не идеальный" (not ideal) or "не идёт" (literally a no go) ... but I may be wrong I mean, in soviet russia there could never be such things like malfunctions, right? But even though everything went 105% by the plan, some things were just "not ideal" xD
Are you previously known as "Big Sam"? Did you change your account name? It's been a while since the last time I saw a "Big Sam" video...I am a little confused.
@@BigSamMosinMuseum Thank you very much! Thought you had disappeared from RUclips. Glad that isn't the case. Your videos rock! I have learned a lot about my Mosins from watching your videos.
