The material world is nothing but darkness, while being close to our creator and following his guidance is the ultimate pleasure towards light and inner peace. You can not have inner peace with material things and wealth. If that was the case, the movie stars and all wealthy people would have been the happiest people? While we know that they are more misrable than a normal person? I seek light and being close to Allah to be more at peace and harmony , and gain my purpose in life to worship Allah, and be at his presence and favour. Just like the Palestinians. Despite all of the loss of family and their homes and their rights as human being, they are more at peace and happier in their devastating situation than any wealthy person? So, I chose light, love, and peace rather than wealth.
Yeah I agree. But I'm talking about the freedom of the soul, not having a lot of material things. Still, I truly believe our creator loves beauty, and he wants us to experience beauty as well, inside and outside. For me, money is one way to experience beauty in this physical life, going to the best places, taking your familiy to best trips and ennjoying together, helping them, help others...
