17:00 Arnold Lines W(ashington)V(irginia)M(aryland) token. Glad you found a coupla relics. Enjoy the sweet corn! (Once we were camping along the Savage River, and this couple drove up and sold us sweet corn outta their car. I don't know how efficient a sales technique that is, but the corn was delicious.)

The Pewter top is definitely off of a salt or pepper shaker. A glass one, they were mde clear, green and pink. Some are depression era and some are 19th Century. Nice to have you back . My wife and I went to Shepherdstown on Saturday, thought you had probably been all over that place. Are you still editing Alska? I have not seen the old Gold Dredge.yeas ago they operated those in Florida below Fort Meyers, they mined Phosphates. That area is now Lehigh Acres. hnaks for all the wonderful adventures you had in Arizona. I got real turned on to he Cliff Dwellings. And old towns all over the SW Deserts.
Fisherman cut weights to lighten then according to current. Sinkers are not always meant to make the line stay on the bottom - sometimes it is desired to have the line ride higher than the bottom, but up a way from the bottom.
I enjoy these especially now since I'm in socal and can't really go hunting for anything around me out here. From Florida and in the whole corner of the US I'd find all kinds of neat stuff.
I've molded my own sinkers before. what you might be coming across is someone molding their own sinkers but that one didn't completely fill the mold but they used it anyways.
I Like the video! I like this video because of facts, exploring, and jut the reason that it leaves me wondering what treasures hide in the water and under the ground
WVM token may be Washington-Virginia-Maryland Coach Service , Chig. And was thinking some of that lead bar may be casting stock redirected to fishing purposes.
I dont know if you or Lindsey enjoy the fruit of the grape, but I keep a cork on my finds bag,and when I find a fishing hook Ill bury it in the cork, and dispose of it when I get back home. Of course that means I need another cork,so its wine with dinner night.
The lock company was founded in 1888 by Samuel Slaymaker. Mr. Slaymaker got his interest in locks from working for the Pennsylvania Railroad as a civil engineer. Yeah they are still in business.
Wish people would think before throwing glass into rivers and lakes. Little children swimming might get hurt bad. Love the vids keep'em coming. Nothing as good as sweet corn says this Illinois born girl :)
Just wanted to say I love your videos I just found your channel I just recently got into detecting and i have gained so much knowledge from your videos let me know if you ever come through Oklahoma been researching a lot of ghost towns about to go out and get permission on a few places
hey chig, u could always get a good deal on some used boots at thrift stores. i always see combat boots at the ones here. check your local d.a.v thrift store.
Ok Off topic I bought myself the White Bullseye Pinpointer through your site, LOVE it. But, you knew there would be a but. :) I have a problem in salt water with it, it looses its mind. Do you have any suggestions or can you tell me which one I should be using in salt water. Thank you for the help.
sometimes when people make sinkers the mold wont be warm enough so the lead will cool before it gets to bottom of the mold . That causes the sinker to not fully form . when i make them i figure no need to remelt it . it will still work lol
Hey Aquachigger, this has probably been asked before, but what brand pick do you have, and what is the length? I sure appreciate your videos....thanks!! BTW, have you ever hunted at the Hollywood plantation site in LA, close the Hard Times?
Nice Job Beau. I had to laugh. I was going to ask what you wear for foot gear, then you show your boot at the end. Tell us what you think about the Max plz. We are all anxious for some legit feed back about it.
Glad to see you back on the river! Good thing I wasn't holding my breath while you went galavanting across country. I did enjoy your trip tho. I live in Red Bluff Ca., It would have been interesting to see the lava flows, caves and the scenery. I'm unable to traverse the terrain so won't ever get to see it first hand. Well A. C. here's to a great new season on the river! 🇺🇸🎆 ✝@~{~~ ✝
you should clean up the lock a bit and send it to the guy who runs the youtube channel locklab. he picks locks all the time. It would be interesting to see if he could get it open
Hi Beau, your river detecting is the best, keep the vids coming as this is what many of us love to watch you do! Cheers Vic
Even a bad day on the water with you is like a good day Aqua! 😊

Back in the river. I am excited to see what things you find this year.
I'd call that a round ball at 20:00, pretty large sprue but it sure looks a lot like the ones I cast for our black powder revolvers.

Fisherman cut weights to lighten then according to current. Sinkers are not always meant to make the line stay on the bottom - sometimes it is desired to have the line ride higher than the bottom, but up a way from the bottom.

let's hope for a cavalry sword this year
dragon master I hope so
Sword or saber Gary.
Gary Daniel ,I just a wondering how old you are, and sabers have a handle like a rapier, and swords have a more long handle
I Like the video! I like this video because of facts, exploring, and jut the reason that it leaves me wondering what treasures hide in the water and under the ground
The Chigg is back!!
I love these long videos
I love finding sinkers! Especially since my other obsessive hobby is fishing lol.
AT Max looks beast. As always awesome video!

Do you ever find anything around big trees and around the roots? like 200 and 300 yr old trees?
I was just down on the river yesterday. Over at dam 4. Looked around a bit but didn't see anything. It's muddy right now.
Always good videos.

i went to verdun with my father a while ago, and i found an intact 8mm lebel round.
I almost cried.
When I make sinkers I pour the lead in my mold and it leaves a little lead on top I have to snip off.
