Don't matter if you are IITian, you won't get a job if you are incompetent or if you search for jobs like you search for your marriage partner. Nobody will be getting paid 20+ LPA anymore in India. Sooner IITians realize that sooner they will get a job. Bsc graduates are cracking IBPS and SBI exams to land jobs and imagine having an IITian crying for lack of jobs. It's lack of effort to be honest. Almost everyone I know has a job, or a business. Only people I have found crying for jobs are those who wants a straight path laid out for them right from their convocation hall to their office cubicle. Life is not a walk in the park and certainly not a straight line. If you are competent you will find one way or another to make a decent living just like millions other people in India and around the world have. Stop crying for opportunities to walk to your door.

Previous generations who procreated mindlessly are to blame for this. They have blood on their hands. Due to this, the life of the average person in this country is simply not worth living.
    Disadvantages of this extreme overpopulation:
    1. Toxic and hypercompetitive education system that only focuses on marks.
    2. Overcrowded classrooms, roads, hospitals, parks, public places, tourist places, etc.
    3. Road accidents and road rages.
    4. Unavailability of bus and train tickets, even during urgency.
    5. No footpaths on most roads, severely restricting walking space.
    6. No parking space due to which half of the road space is occupied by parked vehicles.
    7. Rise of obesity in young Indians due to the unavailability or overcrowding of parks, open spaces or recreational centres.
    8. Young Indians preferring to stay indoors because of the depressing crowd outdoors.
    9. Auditorium-sized classrooms with 250-300 students preparing for competitive exams which have less that 0.5% selection rate.
    10. Severe unemployment causing huge stress to students and young adults during their prime years and prompting them to take extreme steps.
    11. Low, meagre salaries even when you are overworked because you are easily replaceable.
    12. Rising obesity, diabetes and heart diseases because people only think about their careers.
    It's madness all around.

So well written and accurately written. This is 100% true. Future generations of India are in to live in the worst environment.
To add to this, this overcrowd then relocates to western countries and have made the people’s lives in those countries miserable as well, thus increasing hate among western people towards Indians. Seriously, previous generations of India have failed the country.

    • @artman12
      @artman12 5 месяцев назад

Previous generations of the common Indians are not to be totally blamed for this. At the time, India was a primarily agricultural economy and without the modern farming equipment we have today, more children meant more free labour to work on the fields to create more food for the family and community. So it wasn’t completely wrong for the people at that time to think like that. What happened is that so many people moved from the rural areas to the cities where housing and essentials are expensive and getting a job requires years of education with at least a college degree and so, the children became a liability instead of an asset because parents now have to support children financially for so many years before the child was able to earn for himself. There were not many jobs for the new aspirational class in cities as India automatically jumped from being an economy based on agriculture to being one based on services without passing through the manufacturing phase first. The previous governments are to blame for that. If India opened up to the world trade before Deng Xiaoping’s China did, India could have been much richer today with India probably becoming the world’s factory. But the anti-business atmosphere created this. On top of that, the supposed “democratic allies” like the US and Europe decided to help China grow economically instead of India for decades. Unlike the investment towards creating job-heavy industries that the US and Europe gave to China, they gave India charity money towards NGOs, which further hampered India’s development by creating a dependency for the people and with the opposition towards any development because the politicians and people were just happy with free money and stuff.

    • @artman12
      @artman12 5 месяцев назад +1

@@Rakshm8 Overcrowding situations happened in Europe in the past too. What the Europeans did when their country was overpopulated was that they emigrated to the Americas or Australia. If you look at history of the US, Canada or Australia, you can see the times when there were moments of heightened discrimination against a European ethnic group that came in waves. Like the Italian waves during the 1860’s and post WW2, the Irish during the 1840’s, Eastern Europeans during the 19th century and after 1989. if anything, Indians are only late in the immigration game.

Every year nearly 100 million Indian youth are becoming adults and entering the job market. Until India can pull off exponential manufacturing growth like China did in 1990s 2000s, and get all the young people manufacturing jobs, it is not possible to reduce unemployment. But given the current trend of de-risking and globalization of supply chain, India is never going to create 100 million new jobs every year, as no company will ever again make the mistake of making one country control their entire supply-chain. So unemployment of Indian youth will keep increasing. To reduce the pressure on the economy, India must enforce population control measures. Otherwise, 50% of youth will be unemployed by 2047.

we indians are too touchy about real situations such as the employment scenario in India. We are ready to ignore the plight of the fellow indians, who are finding it difficult to get a job in today's grim time, for the sense of nationalism based on the idea that India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. That might be true, but what about the reality that we see with our own eyes? Unemployment in India is on the rise and just by closing your eyes, reality won't change.

There’s not a real solution to unemployment today. The world passed the extreme growth and free trade phase. Countries are becoming more protectionist. The major problem stems from the fact that India opened up much later than China and has a lot of red tape for businesses. Otherwise, India could’ve been the world’s factory instead of China. There’s also problems within India stemming the growth of employment opportunities such as anti-business policies and NGOs and other special interest groups blocking any development.

Most news about youth unemployment in India, whether on Indian channels or global ones, appears to be missing some key points and so are lopsided. One, many young people in India are getting their education from dubious institutes (mostly private) and enter the job market half-baked, expecting high paying jobs, for which they are not 'qualified' and anything else is 'below their dignity'. There is a high need for bridging skill program for them to become market ready. Two, technology is fast replacing human capital. Take the toll booths on highways - a few years back, there used to be 4-5 people manning each toll collection point; now there is just one - everything is tech driven. Three, young people completing education come expecting jobs, not ready to start-up - one doesn't need to be a tech start-up, but start up anything small - bookstore, grocery/daily essential shop, salon, a food outlet, anything they want, but No. If they start-up (and the government is running many schemes for them to start their own enterprise), they will not only find employment but also be able to give employment as their enterprise grows. More than the government, it sometimes is on the young people themselves to be a productive member of the nation and contribute to nation building.

India's GDP growth actually reflects the wealth of the top 1%. 40% of India's wealth is controlled by this 1% - who also broadly control the politics and the media. Meanwhile - Over 35% of Indian children, about 168 million, have been marked as stunted due to malnutrition. This is worse than many African countries such as Burkina Faso. Alarming - that India's political class or its supposedly free media does not see this as an issue- instead focusing on religion and caste.🙏🙏

For India to develop, first focus needs to be given on
    1. Public cleanliness (project swach bharat is an utter failure under PM Modi.. Streets are filthier than ever)
    2. Application based learning (still most of the school works on rote learning and thus zero innovation. Innovation is supressed infact hence smarter indians have no choice but to go to US/Germany in Tech
    3. Outbeat Vietnam/Indonesia/Philippines (they all have much higher HDI and dont do silly religion/hate politics)

      Interesting POV.
On your point 1, where does it say that you keep littering the street and throwing your garbage around, and the government is your janitor cleaning things up for you?? People need to get civic sense and respect public spaces.
I agree largely with your Point 2 on Application based Learning. However, we need to stop feeding this frenzy that 'higher education means better jobs' - one wouldn't get a job readily because he/she is a post graduate. Higher education is only to home skills better, either with more knowlegde or advance skills. No sense people doing back to back grad and post-grad, and entering the job market without any usable skills.
I have a very different take on your point 3. Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines are better positioned than India today to attract investments, not because of what they did in last 10 years, but what they did in last 40 years. The infra they have built, the policy ecosystem they have and one important thing, none of them have a federal government system.
But notwithstanding these difference of opinion, India's development will be driven by increasing share of manufacturing sector in Indian economy, increased participation of women in workforce, and greater entrepreneurship.

We need to acknowledge the fact that the crisis NDA is facing is a result of delays and malpractises done by the previous UPA govt... Our national highway connectivity, railway electrification, electricity generation and distribution all of this were not met when the population of the Indian republic was considerably manageable. if we just take 1 % of India's total population ( ACC to worldcountmeter) it is reaching 14.3Million people... ( a population many European nations don't have), it means we need to assure jobs for just 1% of total population when the job market is hugely industrialized and jobs are lesser and more skill intensive. The govt is not in a mode to foster skills required without forcing the job hungry "spend" money.
Before 2014, no of AIIMS were less but now it has doubled it's number... building an infrastructure requires money and so does requires proper and clean expenditure of tax money collected by the govt of India. For what UPA led govt did for India under a proper rule of 54 yrs is out-performed by the NDA govt in 10 yrs...
We can clearly by statistics confirm, that despite many hurdles in path for development in this bost populous nation, NDA has done at a pace required to be done.
