He half saved skid and pump, and then they got re corrupted. Pico was running, and now he's running again.
The only thing I can think of is that Skid and Pump bought him enough time to TRULY get away. That, and we learned he can save others as well as himself.
Truly get away and also hopefully enough time to save mommy mearest

Wait, I'm a bit confused, so just to double check the story so far....
This takes place in a Bad Ending of the Corruption Mod where in the songs Tormentor, Neuroses, and Discharge, Boyfriend fails and loses consciousness again.
Pico, who is canonically the only character to not be fully controlled by the corruption, fights back against him. Singing his signature songs in reverse order (Blammed, Philly, Pico) He successfully rids himself (mostly) of the corruption.
(These are the events of Week 1)
In Week 2, Pico goes to the mansion that Skid and Pump are at in an attempt to uncorrupt them. He's successful for 2 songs, but Boyfriend finds them. Pico is forced to run away, leaving a partially uncorrupted Skid and Pump to fight him.
The 2 kids fight valiantly to save themselves and each other, but as Pump succumbs to his fate, Skid begins to lose hope and fails in the next song.
So if I have it all correct, Pico is still the only one uncorrupted, correct?

from what i’m seeing, this series is going to be a sort of wild goose chase between pico and bf, with pico running around trying to uncorrupt the others before boyfriend shows up.
P.s. I like the detail pico smiling only after skid’s eye is visible too, as if he doesn’t wanna let his guard down till he makes a good amount of progress so he doesn’t make the mistake of letting his guard down against a mostly corrupted person again..

@@Graysoneli2 It makes complete sense, if you think about the combined power the corruption had put into Skid and Pump as well as the amount of power Boyfriend had been getting.
But if I'm right, hearing the music from M.I.L.K. near the end of the video, Pico actually escaped Boyfriend while he tries to recorrupt Skid and Pump after Pico had just saved them, and he is currently running towards Mommy Mearest's car to undo what the corruption had forced him to do to her before, so that the power on both sides of this interesting battle are gonna match up.
*Pico escaped boyfriend, however, he now has a bounty on his head. Sneaking past some of the corrupted Into the haunted dearest mansion, he is finally in the clear. Or so he thinks...*

Dang, you can REALLY hear the desperation in Skid and Pump's themes this go around. Imagine how it must feel, knowing you've been given a second chance, only for that to be all ripped away from you in an instant, desperately trying to hold onto the last shreds of hope you were left with.
Honestly? i kind of *LIKE* the fact that Pico wasn't successful in saving the Spooky kids, it emphasizes just how much of a monumental task he has on his hands when the entire world is against him, as well as reminding us that just because Pico got a win against CBF, he's still a serious threat to contend with (especially considering that Pico still isn't *completely* rid of his own corruption).
Pico has one chance at undoing this mess, he can't afford to take risks.
Then again, the fighting back mod kinda seems similar to a zombie apocalypse. Why can't Pico just run over to Tankman's military encampment and get help from there. Or why could he not join hands with Hank? There are some allies out there that are available in this corrupted world.

@@mainGhostslayer101 Plus mods aren’t cannonnnnnn. Not entirely except for cameos so Hank isn’t real until the real game comes out canonically with him. Plus this takes place after BF had his fight in his mind but in this universe he lost to his corruption and fell unconscious and back in control of the corruption. Meaning this was after EVERYONE in the world was infected, only just now Pico learned how to break free :)

This was basically the Corruption controlling Skid and Pump and forcing them to take unnecessary revenge on Pico until Pico tried to get them out and Corrupted Boyfriend came in.

For the bonus song, I know it's not cannon to the original fighting back lore, but it might be a hint to something, maybe it is a hint to pico getting recorrupted. No hopes left if pico is recorrupted because boyfriend Is occupied by it, now all we wait for is pico vs mom, but since mom is a demon, her corruption form will be much stronger, so maybe other demons like dad can at least do something, but since this is after the corruption happened, dad already got fully consumed by the corruption, and pft, dad would be much harder to save than mom as mom is mostly overconfident and thinks she can easily win against an enemy without using her powers, while the dad can go full on his enemy and corrupt the enemy in just a span of maybe 2-3 songs. But don't give your hopes up, maybe if mom gets saved she can save dad, maybe this time she won't be overconfident thinking she could sing the corruption off and win, maybe she will finally use her powers, but pico easily corrupted the mom. So I don't even know if the mom will be easily saved. Or will she recorrupt pico, but all we need to do is wait

I really like it, for me it would have been interesting if pico manages to un corrupt pump but not skid on time for boyfriends arrival, so he picks pump and leaves and he is not only sad for not having skid, he feels guilty for being responsable for corrupting him in the first place si he fights him in a 1v1

I had recently watched SoulBF's week, from Tormentor to Neuroses, all the way to Discharge, and seeing this new battle unfold before my eyes now, I'm getting the fact that in Boyfriend's mind, SoulBF is trying to get him to wake up and break free from the corruption's hold, while Pico, seemingly getting a vision of what's bound to happen between Boyfriend and SoulBF, had forcefully broken out of the corruption himself and is currently trying to put an uncorrupted force together by trying to save the rest of their friends in hopes of giving a vast breakdown in the Corruption and defeating Lemon Demon (Lemon Monster, whatever) once and for all.
And if I got the right idea, this battle continues with Mommy Mearest, as she was corrupted by Pico and he's going to set things right.

@@Graysoneli2 but it was canon to Corruption and Phantom Fear's corruption mod, if I'm right, is giving us what is happening with Boyfriend, both on the outside and in his subconscious. I'm thinking that after Neuroses, where Boyfriend supposedly got shoved back into the depths of the corruption, Pico took the advantage of Evil BF's confusion and attempted to break out himself, and then, when he managed, shot Evil BF so he'd be virtually weakened more and ran off into the house we saw him in here, trying to save Skid and Pump only to have to regretfully leave them behind at the hands of Evil BF, who eventually recorrupted the Spookeez duo with both a new song, and..... a surprisingly somewhat familiar song by the name of Retrospecter Chiller, which is similar to the original Chiller. Boyfriend may still be battling Evil Boyfriend in his subconscious with SoulBF, and somehow the storylines in FNF Corruption and FNF Fighting Back might be connected in some way.

If anyones confused on why Pico left skid and pump half corrupted then the most best possible reason is due to the fact that if you did not hear there was gunshots and a sound of running and most likely seems that Bf found where pico is as like what pico said i cant stay here too long or they will find me

This is an interesting sequel, but Boyfriend is a "determined" person. Plus, he's only afraid of thunder so he wouldn't back down.
His IQ is about 18, and I have to deal with it. Hopefully the corruption is gone soon so I don't have to deal with him.

I kinda like where this is going, pico is running from bf but is also meeting up with the other characters and uncorrupting them while bf chases and recorrupts them. I wonder if Pico's plan will backfire and recorrupt him in the end
My theory is pico had a back up plan in case he couldnt save skid and pump in time,that being using them as a decoy while he saves mother,hoping skid and pump can buy him enough time to uncorrupt her,and then possibly returning to save them, either that or Go straight after daddy dearest
