The first time I saw One Direction perform "What Makes You Beautiful" at the closing ceremony was mesmerizing; it was my introduction to them, and they quickly became my favorite boy band. I miss them dearly now, but my love for them will always stay❤
I was born in 2005 so I’ve seen a closing ceremony of London and Rio with Tokyo but London one was best. when I was 7 and didn’t understand English, I was moved by this and One Direction. I love One Direction forever and ever

I remember this Olympics like it was yesterday, It would be nice if it returned to the UK sometime soon. I also remember those days every girl had 1D stickers all over their school bags and books, waking up to this song playing on the TV (we used to watch the morning music charts before school). So much nostalgia in one song
This was my first time seeing them from Japan. They instantly made me crazy about them. And I got a great fan of foreign music, many great artists like Ariana, Ed, Justin, Katy and so on, which enriched my young hood. I owe you what I am.
