The Clothtique Santa brought back memories for me. My Dad's only hobby in his later years was being on the computer. My mother in law found a Clothtique Santa sitting at a computer, but it was a store display, so she couldn't buy it. She looked the following year, but no luck. She died in 2003. Last year I found the Santa at Goodwill and bought it for my Dad with a note telling him the story. He died this past May. So it was a nice reminder of them and not giving up on finding treasures.

The wooden Florentine box at 13:48 is made in Italy. I sell these in my Etsy store for around $28-$35. They're from the 60's & 70's. I wanted to reach right through my screen and grab it when you left it there!

Exactly what I thought !! I sold one on FB market place for over 20 bucks and knew exactly what that was! Not sure how much that one was selling for at the thrift store but I always look at boxes. old tin boxes will sell well too.

That wasn’t a hunting scene. It was a hound scene. You diont always kill when you run hounds. You can be forcing wildlife away from crops they’re ruining, away from fields before you burn etc. Hunting is legal and pays for almost all conservation. I cringe every time you knock it like people are doing something immoral. I also prefer wild meat to antibiotic stuffed crap in the stores.

The white vase is a French or Belgium tulip vase🥰
Tulips continue to grow after cutting the design of the vase allows for growth and support of the flower and to showcase each bloom.
As a florist I would love to own this piece.

This is so interesting, thank you for sharing your info with us! I decided to start the video over & skipped ahead
to the vase! It’s amazing when someone identifies something you would never even imagine & how suddenly you see all types of ways to use it, lol! That would create a very minimalistic look simply by choosing other delicate stems, however; you could put lush, thick lilac or hydrangea blooms to create a 360° circle of heaven! My mom was a florist when I was younger & still makes special arrangements for people who she knows & gets requests from. I may start trying to track one down for her, & I’ve talked myself into finding one for myself as well 😂! Have a fantastic week ahead, hopefully it’s a short one!! 🤗💜🙏🏻😷

I would not donate or buy from a Goodwill Store because how much of their takings really go to helping people. I work for a small charity shop, we get a lot of fantastic donations that probably are being sold cheaper than a Goodwill type store and all money goes to the charity as it run by volunteers. We make way over 6 figures a year and all our not so fantastic clothes are distributed to the needy and homeless also the baby clothes go to the orphanage. Who buys all this stuff that you buy to resell, sorry to sound like Debbie Downer but I would prefer my money going to a direct cause.

Seriously though, I hope you had a fantastic Christmas weekend with your family & are looking forward to 🎊New Years Eve🎊! I know we are all ready to see this year end & I 🙏🏻that in 2021, ALL forms of media will be reporting more & more good news vs the 99.9% awful news that seems to slap us in the face every day🤦🏼‍♀️. Once vaccines start rolling out to the population, I hope that the elephant sitting on my shoulders will finally leave 🤣! OH... I forgot to ask what Sissy thought about her scrapbooking presents! I have a ridiculous amount of stickers, papers, a set of 10-15 scissors that each cut a different pattern, etc, etc. that I purchased when I first started scrapbooking. I don’t have any use for them now as my tastes, skill level & the technology in custom designing/printing & cutting equipment has drastically changed. I would be delighted to send them to Juliette if you would allow me (You can ask Misty, I’m not a crazy person, lol)! TFS, I think I spotted 1 of the item you passed by, I guess I’ll find out tomorrow! 🤗💜🙏🏻😷🦚
