Pleeese don't take the googly eyes off the reindeer LOL. That's the charming part! Added: I checked ebay, and the googly eyes are original. You'll destroy the value by taking those off and refinishing. I'm in love with the Santa goblets!
@@ThriftingVegas Hi again Tiffany! Danni found a googly-eyed reindeer in her video right after yours. I'm not sure if it was at the same Goodwill. I wonder if the three were in a set. Added: But having two is awesome!
Tiffany, I loved the IKEA crochet organizer - had never seen it before. Lo and behold, I went to Goodwill yesterday and found the exact same one on the shelf!! Of course, I scooped it up! :)
I lived in Las Vegas in the 90's, I loved to go to the Goodwill on Charleston. I gave all my winter clothes away when I moved there. Then decided to move back. Lots of people moved there from cold states, and I was going back to one, so I was able to replace my coats with more fashionable ones. If I had stayed there, I could have furnished my entire house from Goodwill. I'm glad to find you, and now I'm subscribed. I can live and shop there vicariously now. Blessings.
Hi! The Japanese rotating condiments tray is to serve dry fruits and dry biscuits and wafers to guests with their tea. You shouldn't put anything wet in it because the base of the tray is wood.
I came across your channel by accident and glad I did. I love how informative you are about every piece. I learned a lot just from this one video, so I can imagine the knowledge I’m going to gain from binge watching previous videos. Thank you so very much for sharing your expertise. I truly cannot wait to see your new home decorated with all of your beautiful glass Christmas trees and decorations. You have been building up for the big reveal lol

The little bell that is of a girl, that is a Merry Bell. My mother bought cases of them to give to customers in the beauty shop and we gave them to our teachers as gifts. There are about 15 different types of figurines. Maybe more. Idk... but the basset hound was always my favorite. I still have a few and yes, they are early 80s
I adore your vlogs. Your explains and teachings re: why and why not buying an object. You're not just focused on antique ot vintage. Thank you for being in this and my world now. I'm trying to make this a better world with less going into the dump.
A very nice haul of lovely items. I believe the Japanese black what I would call a Lazy Susan would be used for different cut up vegetables in each unit with the dip in the center, I believe that is what that round insert is for. All in all a good shopping day. Good luck 👍🏻
People overlook those wooden sailors because they think they aren't worth anything. Great find. I find them everywhere and they always sell well. The large ones are best.
Thank you Kristie! I love them too.... a similar one was one of my very first Ebay sales back in 2002! I've never found a large one, but I'm on the look out! Thank you so much for watching! 😊💕
Early serving lazy Suzan in the late 1060s to the early 1970s. I used to sell them in a department store. Many couples got them for engagement and wedding gifts along with the obligatory 3-5 toasters, monogrammed towels, a bazillion assorted glasses, an Onkaparinga pure wool blanket, cheap cotton sheets with lace, cork coasters and placemats, pepper and salt shakers, aluminium saucepans with coloured lids, standing coffee mugs and Orange arty fatty glass ornamental vases
The Japanese Serving tray would be good for serving shrimp with a bowl in center with cocktail sauce . Could be prepared ahead and stored in the refrigerator and then brought out at serving time.
Also good for ranch or onion dip in the center and celery sticks, baby carrots, zucchini and/or cucumber slices, and broccoli and/or cauliflower mini florets. Or make a relish tray with assorted gherkins(sweet and dill), olives (green and black), pickled veggies, giardiniera, etc. or put out garnishes for cocktails in the end of a self-serve bar with cocktail onions, olives, lemon/orange/lime twists, maraschino cherries, with a cup in the center for stirrers and decorative drink skewers or umbrellas. Lots of ways to use that!!!
@@ThriftingVegas You’re welcome! I’m the Queen of small bites for snacks or starters. LOL I worked in an office where people liked to have snacks a couple of days a week. I left out the other obvious (to me) one - cubes of different cheeses around the outside with sliced )or diced) pepperoni or salami piled in the center. Or small rolls of thinly sliced Parma ham or prosciutto standing upright like small soldiers in the middle. Plate or bowl of assorted crackers and toast squares to the side.
The Japanes rotating plate may be for biscuits and dip in the middle with carrot sticks and celery and cubes of cheese in the different compartments. That's what we would be using it for in our family it's beautiful and a great favorite.

I lived in Japan. The Japanese lacquer serving dish is for New Years foods. They are usually pickled foods and rice so wives don't have to cook during the New Years holidays. They are all preserved foods. My friend sometimes served rolled sushi in it. Most are square lacquer. I received rice, starchy potatoes, sour seaweed tied in bows, carrots, fish (almost candied) chestnuts, ginko nuts on long bamboo sticks.

That Japanese "serving dish" looks like a fancy vegetable tray to me. I have a similar ceramic blue one. You put dip in the middle section and veggies like cut up broccoli, carrots, celery, etc. In the sections around the dip. Very common where I live (Northern MN).

I'm thinking the Japanese lazy susan would be great for different kinds of sushi, with little ceramic dishes in the middle holding soy sauce, wasabi horseradish and pickled ginger. Or, mochi! Perhaps trinkets or crafting items. What a versatile piece 👏
Awesome ideas Juanita, thank you so much for sharing, I hadn't even thought of using it for something other than food.... it would be such a cute little sewing box!😊💕
It's called a Lazy Susan. You put different things in each section. Like celery, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. Put it in the middle of the table and people can take out what they want. They are great. Then you put dip in the middle compartment fir snacks.
The MCM reindeer are typically Danish and no one glued the eyes on, they’re manufactured that way. Hope you don’t take the eyes off, they’re probably worth about $35-40 as they are now. Great find!
Please leave a comment to let me know what your favorite was of the items I found. What would you use the Japanese serving dish for? Thank you so much for watching! Tiffany😊💕

The serving tray I believe is for chips, pretzels, etc and the circle ib the middle is for a dip. You could also it for serving crudites such as cut celery, carrots, cauliflower and/or broccoli florets and again with a dip in the middle.
Love most everything you purchased especially the Santa goblets! I have those glass pinecone ornaments, purchased them in the late 90’s. They were a little pricey at the time. Great video!!

Wonderful haul!!! TFS!!!
Thank you so much for watching Tammy! 😊💕
Those reindeer are just too cute. I don't think I mind the googly eyes, noses and tails
The serving tray I believe is for chips, pretzels, etc and the circle ib the middle is for a dip. You could also it for serving crudites such as cut celery, carrots, cauliflower and/or broccoli florets and again with a dip in the middle.
I also think the lazy Susan Asian tray would be great for sushi!
Great idea Christina, thank you so much! 😊💕
Great haul. Love the dog plates 😊
Thank you so much for watching Susan, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! 😊💕
Being from San Francisco, I would say that Lazy Susan server is for dim sum!
I believe the black Chinese box is for storing spices.
💜The plates are a great find💜
We used to eat at a Korean restaurant and they would serve appetizers in a divided dish like that. It was like a sampler of Asian foods.
Nice selections. !! I ll be shopping!😉
Kat!🤗 Thank you so much for watching, I always look forward to your sweet comments! 😊💕
I love Mr. & Mrs Claus, to cute 😃
Tray can be used for veggies and a dip in the middle.
Happy Sunday.... I hope you have a nice day..

That “ink stand” Looks like it is a candleholder which will hold a taper and at the other end hold a larger candle...(?)
Love most everything you purchased especially the Santa goblets! I have those glass pinecone ornaments, purchased them in the late 90’s. They were a little pricey at the time. Great video!!
Thank you so much for watching Lynn, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! 😊💕
I have them too. They really POP against the green tree. My favorite until I had grandkids, I then switched to plastic, paper, “crochayed” ornaments.
Love the stuff you picked out.
Really enjoyed the video! Thanks for sharing it with us! ❤️
Hi Yvonne! Thank you so much for watching, yes, I'm from the Midlands in central England.😊💕
Veggie tray with middle used to put a dipping sauce dish
The serving tray is fresh veggies and dip in the center. I have one similar.
That's a great idea Serena, thank you so much!😊💕
Tiffany, great video and wonderful items.

The pizza box was hiding some treasure! 💚
Yes it was, I'm really glad I looked inside! Thank you so much for watching! 😊💕
I believe the tray is for condiments. 👍👍
Usually, Goodwill and Value village, keep out the cool collectable stuff, and managers take them.
This is amazing. How do you know what sells? I wouldn't have a clue.
Agree! The stuff she buys I would never think are popular ($20 non-vintage coffee mugs??). And she always passes by all the stuff I love. 😆
