This music is nearly 50 yrs old and in my opinion is head and shoulders above most [ not all ] of the music produced today. Some of the music released in the 70's and 80's was unreal. Nice to see that as a young person you appreciate just how good some of the older music is. Keep up the great work.

😂. Age creeps up on us doesn't it ! You should be proud , the talent of this group was incredible , the singing , harmonies , instrumentals and production were always amazing. The strange thing is that at the time I don't think many of us realized just how good they were , pure genius. The music is timeless and the fact that younger people today can appreciate it proves the point. I loved it when I was 14 and I still love it at 59 !

There is plenty of good music today, we always just have more fondness for songs from our youth. There are lots of good young female pop artists, if you listen to Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia album from 2020 you'll see a lot of Disco type Abba vibes.

"Dancing Queen" (1976) is a beautiful song, a fantastic Masterpiece,
which shines in the loftiness of its vocal harmonies
the blonde singer Agnetha is soprano voice,
the brunette singer Frida is mezzo soprano voice,
and blending together made the famous and fantastic 'third voice of ABBA'
And the music is bright and enveloping,
from the initial chord it introduces you into the atmosphere of the disco
, and invites you to dance
"Dancing Queen" is the biggest worldwide hit to ABBA
#1 in several countries of all the world
included the only #1 to ABBA at US Billboard in 1977
their biggest hit in UK (six weeks #1)
also 14 weeks #1 in their homeland Sweden
and 8 weeks #1 in Australia, among others countries
    is the flagship ABBA song
with the most vews in Spotyfy and RUclips
English public has voted it as one of the songs they want to hear the most,
because of the feeling of joy and energy it gives them (another is "Don't stop me now" by Queen)
And in 2015 "Dancing Queen" was included in the Hall of Fame of Grammys awards music
and a few weeks ago "Dancing Quee" was voted the #2 best pop song of all times by Billboard US
ABBA begin to be famous in 1974,
when They won the Eurovision Song Contest in UK
    with their iconic song "Waterloo"
the live perfomance is that I suggest you to a next reaction
next year will be their 50th anniversary
and maybe could be an homenage to all ABBA members
or "Fernando" 1976) , their second biggest worldwide hit, to see the brunette singer in lead voice and a different genre musical
I hope to see you with more reactions to ABBA songs
    My best regards from
    Buenos Aires, Argentina
    South America

He does in "Mama Mia" and especially at the end of "Chiquitita " "Fernando" is a great song too. and "Name of the Game" just an fyi. The group quit recording in i believe 1982. Nothing from them as a group since then bang 2 years ago they got back together after 40 years and made a new album called Voyage. Fans were estatic! Then bang, they built a whole arena in London to have concerts with avatars aka abbatars! It is incredible. They are not holigrams but look so real. All the movements of the abbatars were recorded by them so its actually them performing really. They spent months 10 hours a day in special motion catching suits with 160 cameras. OK I scanned the comments, and I don't see this. After they retired, Benny (the pianist) and Bjorn continued to write stuff, most famously the musical Chess. The musical is OK, but it has some incredible songs in it: Anthem, I Know Him So Well, Someone Else's Story.

Uh, yes, I turn 51 next year and this is an early memory as a child. Not particularly in the closed environment of US Pop of the time, this single nevertheless topped the Billboard Pop chart in 1976. And outside of the US (particularly in my native UK) they were leviathans who cleaned up; scoring 9 No.1 singles in Britain alone.

Nice to see your reaction to this epic popsong. You have so much to discover with ABBA and all four of them is worth diving into. They are amazing everyone. Greetings from sweden.
Some suggestions --> The Winner Takes It All (learn about the background first about Björn and Agnetha), When all is said and done (Fridas song, wow!), The Day Before You Came

Hello! I just found your channel and enjoyed your reactions! I loved how you pointed out Benny's piano playing. He is indeed a Master. His partner and buddy, Bjorn creates the lyrics. Their work together spans decades. I will look forward to more reactions of their catalogue! Enjoy the journey!

I'm a now 59 years old man from Germany and ABBA were the heroes of my youth, maybe of my life. I even saw them live in 1979. It brings me to tears and fills my heart with joy seeing young people like you who discover and appreciate ABBA for what they were and will ever be: masters of perfect popmusic with outstanding melodies, arrangements and voices. Their music will survive everything. Thanks a lot for your videos.

I'm exactly your age and feel the same. But growing up in East Germany I was neither able to buy their records (but I recorded them secretly on cassette) nor to attend a concert of theirs while they were in their prime.
