A Legend for 8.500 Euros? Still a very fair price considering the unique and clean sound and the fact that only 20 being built. Conclusion: I bought it, received it 3 days ago and can not let my hands off of it....What a beauty!!!! What a Sound!!!! I have played at least 50 vintage pre CBS strats but this one is unique! Love it!

@@trungnuhwen I think you are making a mistake buddy. Even the mexican bulk productions from 1997 on cost around 2000 Dollars. This is a totally different guitar, custom shop, 20 pieces made in total ;)
@@neverenoughstrats a strat plus with mid boost then :) since Claptons is based a lot more on a 50s strat with 6 screw tremolo, old tuning keys, a different body contour (50s deeper style), and a different neck profile.. Hank never used mid boost. Not sure why Arbiter suggested that for him ... I really regret that I did not buy one of those Fiesta red strat pluses when they were available. I did have the Hank Marvin Autograph series strat for a while (bought that from Flying Pig Guitars in 1995) but sadly sold it 5 years later. That one had the DiMarzio FS1 PU in bridge and Seymour Duncans.
Amazing!! Would love this guitar
Hi Nick, I have another one coming in! So if you're interested...

Incredible guitar.
I have the Squier version. Bought it for £200 in about 2007 which was a bargain. It's a wonderful strat.
The Squier has its own video now! ruclips.net/video/osfPg8Hd-w0/видео.html
Me too! You got a bargain. I paid that brand new.

I think that those Strats were made by Fujigen gakki who also made my 62 reissue Strat and Ibanez Prestige guitars. They are sublime craftsmen.
I saw on your website that it sold. How much did it sold for?
A fair price 😇
@@neverenoughstrats My friend recently purchase one. Don't know if he got a good deal or not.
@@trungnuhwen What did he pay? I'll tell you if it is a good deal (or not).

Isnt that prototype more or less a strat plus with gold hardware and a signature? Strat plusses were delivered in fiesta red those days.
Sort of. It doesn't have the Wilkinson nut and it does have a mid-boost. So it's more like is a Clapton signature.
