Always Welcome 🙂🙂❤ If you are unable to find your views and controller files in the file manager of your hosting environment, it is possible that the files are not directly accessible or are located in a different location than what you might expect. Here are a few reasons why you may not see the views and controllers in your hosting file manager: Precompiled Views: In some deployment scenarios, the views may be precompiled into assemblies, which means they are not accessible as individual files. Instead, the compiled views are included as part of the deployed application package. Different File Structure: The file structure in your hosting environment may be different from what you see in Visual Studio during development. The hosting environment might have a specific directory structure or file organization for web applications. Deployment Package: When you publish your application from Visual Studio, it typically creates a deployment package (e.g., a ZIP file) that contains the necessary files for your application. Hidden Files or Configuration: The views and controllers might be located in hidden directories or protected areas of the hosting environment to prevent direct access or unauthorized modifications. If you need to make changes to a controller after it has been hosted, you typically need to follow a development workflow that involves making changes locally and then publishing the updated version of your application.

I got this error, after I followed you to replace the connection string and run the program from web.config HTTP Error 403.14 - Forbidden The Web server is configured to not list the contents of this directory. Most likely causes: A default document is not configured for the requested URL, and directory browsing is not enabled on the server.
Here are a few common reasons why you might encounter this error and some steps you can take to resolve it: Missing Default Document: If the directory you're trying to access doesn't contain a default document (like "index.html", "default.aspx", etc.), the server might not know which file to display as the default page. Directory Browsing Disabled: If directory browsing is disabled on the server, you won't be able to see the list of files in the directory even if a default document is present. This is done to enhance security by preventing users from seeing the directory structure. To enable directory browsing, you would need to modify the server's configuration settings. Incorrect Configuration: There might be an issue with the server's configuration settings. Make sure the server is correctly configured to allow access to the files in that directory. Double-check your configuration files or settings to ensure they are set up correctly. File Permissions: If the files within the directory have incorrect permissions, the server might not be able to serve them. Ensure that the necessary permissions are set so that the web server can read the files. URL Path Error: Double-check the URL you're using to access the directory. It's possible that you've mistyped something in the URL, leading to the error. Virtual Directory Configuration: If you're dealing with a virtual directory, ensure that the virtual directory's settings are correctly configured in your web application's configuration files. IIS Specific: If you're using Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), this error might occur due to various IIS-specific settings. You might need to adjust settings related to default documents and directory browsing in the IIS configuration.
