To let you know the many different fields of nursing the US has to offer, I left bedside nursing 3 years ago and currently work as a Nursing Informatacist in which I work closely with IT to support those EMR's, the electronic medical record that you will use to chart on your patients. My daughter will be entering nursing school this fall, and her goal is to become an aesthetic nurse. There are many different fields of nursing you can go into here! It's unlimited.
For those with kids and have trouble with daycare, you can work completely remotely from home as a telehealth nurse or a triage nurse.
Other remote nursing jobs include Care Manager Nurse in which you work with health insurance companies to manage patient care and Prior Authorization Review Nurse, in which you also work with insurance companies and process requests from medical facilities for patients who require surgical procedures, diagnostic tests, labs and xrays.
Pauline I did my psychology degree part time. 6.30-9.30pm for 4 years, at age 47 whilst working as a health visitor. I was a qualified nurse and a midwife. The sky is your limit. Thank you and stay blessed.

Uk doesn't pay very well at all, for they doctors and nurses.
They suppose to be given international medical doctors and nurses direct to Indefinit Leave to Remain or Permanent Residence to prevent them leaving, like USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia do.
Living 5 years as a medical doctor and as a nurse in Uk, before you get your Uk Permanent Residence or ILR, is very, very long time.
Uk really need to do better for they health professionals.
Uk is the answered prayers for a lot of Africans. However, I personally feel everyone that wants to leave has also carefully weighed their options. So, to everyone their own. Most importantly, wherever you choose to settle permanently, planning is key.

I was having that desire to leave uk but decided to stay, bought a house, my children will have better opportunities. I will start my masters degree later this year.l think am ok with U.K.
You see this free health care. For these past months I’ve been in and out the hospital and I now appreciate the UK for this free healthcare. I know if i was paying for it, i can’t afford it.

It is well with you ,your health is healed. Please, watch your health very well. They don't do a comprehensive check on you so you will be going in and out of the hospital.Trust me. That's how they are.
To be honest, I haven’t had any bad experience since I started this journey. I’m a registered nurse here so I know to an extent the kind of care I need and I’m getting it 100%. I’m grateful to the NHS.
I started this journey from my home country, spent millions but no result, but here in the UK I’m getting results already without paying a dime

Thank you for this video . I currently live in a overseas territory of the uk and I’m planing to move there by next year . However I see a lot of videos of people talking bad and saying that they are living but in the other hand lots of people immigrants are saying the same like you and also showing that with hard work and discipline you can buy a house within 3 years . I know is hard in most countries , specially for us here una really small island but uk still looks like a place where you can go and turn your life for the best .

Thanks for sharing. Please can you shed more light on the two years nursing degree and how to go about it? The nursing associate program like I read is an apprenticeship programme for people who have stayed in the uk for three years or more so that’s the limitation for me😊
I live in England,all my bills as a single person ,when I say all I included even union membership.I pay £750 ,I only survive with less than 1k..best decision I made to stay this side

Nanelle, we came with good intentions but the rate at which immigrations rules keeps changing and cost of living is getting exponentially high, not everyone can handle it. We have to cater for the family and those back home.
Immigration rules and laws globally change on average every 6 months. Governments just don't make noise about it.

Last year, I and my husband thought about the kind of money we were spending in London, we decided to move to another part of England. Guess what Sis, we just bought our first house, a 3 bedroom semi detached house, just after 5months of relocating… Now people close to me, wants to rethink going to the USA.😂😂😂😂 Also, I am starting classes for my masters next month, I got a masters with partial scholarship, let me know if you’re interested in how I got the partial scholarship.

Teacher money is very good not mention the fact that during school holidays you get paid while sitting at home. No discouragement, the UK is frustrating immigrants with no better plans for them, they just immigrants to move a year and leave and another one comes in. The silent killing here is bigger than where there's a physical gunshot. Have you researched how people commit suicide in the UK due to threats, I'm a victim I thought of committing suicide on four different occasions. The UK is not a safe place for people who want to live long and want happiness. What works for you, will not work for others.

I was a osce nurse who came to London in 2017, left back to India in 2023! Money Job yeah good but wait I paid taxes so many years and when I wanted to see an obs doctor when having a miscarriage, the GP told me what she can let me see an obstetrician if I had 3 miscarriages! That same minute I knew I am done with this country! In India, I may not have luxury life, but I can visit 100+ doctors the same day I want to consult them, this modern slavery is not for me
