@@BassPlayer-nn7gg yes sir ive seen marcus several times up close and along with Victor and Stanley during the SMV tour in 2009...i wasn't super thrilled about my seat but the acoustics in the Blue Note venue was real cool but the website said seats were first come first serve yet when i got inside majority of the good tables were empty and reserved ..thats why i prefer venues where i can pick my own seat ahead of time
Marcus Miller might be the face of the sire basses or owner i dont have that infor but am pretty sure he prefers to play that Fender Jazz Bass over those eeeh kinda good sire basses lol
@@ultranacional6171 I understand a lot about rock, and I'll tell you right now that rock was born from the rhythm section of jazz. Rock does not have the great jazz harmonies, which even work with ordinary beats. Show me a rock theme with tonal variations like jazz! So we stopped having rock to have Rockjazz.....lol
I know jazz and blues are the fundamentals of practically every western genre incluiding rock but to me music is not about which genre is more complex or richer harmonically speaking. If music were like maths, then even pat metheny would tell u to go solve some equations
@@bassvue You have no idea. I have been into the Funk probably since before you were born. I also have been a Marcus Miller fan since the Lenny white Streamline album came out. I also have been a professional bassist for 40 years. And I can tell the difference between something musical and something that"s not. Besides, Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata ..is that what you consider "boring Classical music"? Marcus liked it enough to record a version of it. You need to grow up a bit before you pipe up when you obviously don't know what you are talking about.

Very nice. I especially like Marcus Miller’s tone and how much he listens to the others. But each have their moments to shine.
