      Today He is already in eternity with my Lord and Savior Jesús . That is the security that we have when we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior . We do not have to guest were we are going to spend eternity. ISLAND IN THE SUN . I know you know at this time with Jesus , you did everything HE ALLOWED you to do . As long as there is evil in this world, injustice also is persistent . Only God is just . This world Jesus told us would have tribulations, still JESUS told us HE HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD . When HE was raised to heaven , HE SEND THE HOLLY SPIRIT TO ABIDE IN EVERYONE WHO ACCEPT JESUS AS LORD AND SAVIOR . Yes, there are tribulations, even in the life of the believers, we are in the world. But God is our hope , day by day , we fall , we sin, we get discouraged, we forget who we are in Christ, but God bring us back , through HIS SPIRIT. Only GOD RETURN WOULD BRING PEACE , JUSTICE. You did HARRY BELAFONTE, what GOD , allow you to do . Well done , thank you for everything you brought us closer to have right and privilege, thank God he allowed you to lived the right to VOTE

      @@bormagain66 Im Jamaican, we ARE all part of African Diaspora, children of Mama Africa, ALL of our ancestors removed from the continent, brutally by white slavers and dropped off all over the world to create wealth for them, brutalized, dehumanized and much more, the continent of Africa that we are the children of Harry Belafonte was too aware of that and he fought for Africa, as so many of us do, and as Africa is fighting for us, please be aware of our United efforts in CARICOM. Where our brothers and sisters of Africa, are united with the Caribbean in solidarity, against the effects of colonialism and antiquated racist sanctions from America & Europe that continue to destroy black countries on the continent, and around the world, Mama Africa.
      Harry Belafonte Who I had the beautiful opportunity to meet few times in my life, very elegant sophisticated BLACK man he had a passion for Africa, and fought against white oppression for South Africa & America they just recently gave him award after his death. Please educate yourself.
      In his own words, he said he could never get rid of his anger against America for their perpetual hate and racism that he’s fought so hard for his entire life but America is relentless and it’s hate for the black man. In this pack is that represents what America is there’s always RACISM they created it. They perpetuate it and continue it and they will never get rid of it and he has continued rage about this hatred. He said he became who he’s become because despite of the hatred white America had against him, he continued he said there’s a potential to America, but in his almost century of life, he hadn’t seen it reach a place where the racism isn’t still suffocating. So you want to make him an American but America never really made him an American nor hasn’t really made any black person equal and it’s American Ness as they should be.
      “In 1988, Belafonte helped organize an event that proved pivotal in the fight against white supremacy in South Africa: He hosted a musical celebration of the 70th birthday of then-imprisoned African National Congress leader, Nelson Mandela, at London’s Wembley Stadium”
      www.voaafrica.com/amp/safrica-mourns-passing-of-harry-belafonte/7070471.html
      So you may want to deny his African ancestry on his knowledge and love of mama, Africa, and his support of Africa, but he never did thank God!!
      He is an African Jamaican, who fought against racism amongst White supremacist in America, and in South Africa, and all over the world.

    We are richer because Harry Belafonte lived among us, and at that for so long; but we are impoverished because he isn’t here anymore. He was as great a man as he was an artist. He understood the problems of the human race and its struggle to deal with itself as few individuals have.

    This is an amazing man! Why was not too much about him after King's murder?
    Harry Belafonte, an icon & legend and we have lost such a man. In Harry's case, he lived to be 96. Dr. King would have been 94, since they were 2 years apart. Harry was the older.
    I am moved by Harry's involvement in black race. He did his the quiet way. The financier behind close doors. He did well for his age.
    I think, this fine soldier in Harry Belafonte has to be a force to reckon.
    The takeaway from this clip, as Mr Belafonte said, Dr. King's disciples failed him in the end. Yes, there are so many trailbrazers in all our dealings on earth as far as black societies ar

    Wow yes Mr. Belafonte, I remember you and how active you were in civil rights for humanity,, you also mention Rosa Parks,, What I want to know is why history tellers never mention this woman Claudette Corbin,, Because she was before Rosa Parks,,the first black dark skin woman,, WHO REFUSED TO GIVE UP HER SEAT ON THE BUS...

    • @juicechoreography8951
      @juicechoreography8951 Год назад

      Claudette Corbin had a child out of wedlock and the NAACP did not want to use her because they felt like her immorality would be a distraction to what they were trying to do. Rosa Parks had during that same time was going through training on the civil rights movement, tactics etc. The following year is when she did what she did and that photo is what made the history books and museums.
      There is real historical moments in time, and manufactured historical moments.
      It's all about media.. he who controls the lens and the pen, control the narrative.
