Cambodia is a conservative and Buddhist country. Showing affection between a man and a woman is rare, and so is kissing and touching in public, also known as PDA (public displays of affection). In Western culture, dating is the first step in starting a relationship.
Many Cambodian girls are not interested in a relationship until she is married. Dating is new to their vocabulary, and preserving their virginity until they get married plays an important role in the Cambodian culture.

Thanks, my liege. I’ve been waiting for this content! Definitely interested in traveling there, in the hopes of retiring somewhere in SEA in a few years. When o was in high school, I dated a Cambodian girl, and I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for Cambodian women since then, though I haven’t dated any since her. Not to say I haven’t had relationships, of course. However, I think a nice, gentle, supportive Cambodian woman is just what I need.

1. look for girl which has a job. 2. Never have children, its much to complicate with the difference. And she will spend maybe 80% of time for kids only 20% for you. Mine only 5%.... 3. Not buy house, only Condo, not close to family. I have 30 years of bad experience.... 4. have gf only and never marrie.

One of the best videos I have watched about this sense give topic. I meet a stunning woman in Siem Reap that I really liked. I helped her with 200$ each month to pay the rent for her laundry shop. She would not stay permanently with me before we got married. She has been married before and had a 4 year old daughter. She told me to pay her parents a 5000$ dowry to marry her. That's when I lost my interest for her. I will not pay dowry for a girl that has been married before.

Cambodia be looking so mid when you compare price, lady, food, nightlife and everything else compared to thailand, vietnam and Philippines. I dont see where it beats out any of them.
Maybe the year visa is a selling point but that about it.
Cambodia visa is much better than all those others over 55 ! Cheaper and much easier w/o having to ever leave or qualify for anything. - ? - The people are the only people said to be more friendly than the Filipinos worldwide ! Very hard to beat Siem Reap for a cheap comfortable retirement destination - or as a home base. Bangkok is a cheap one hour flight away for fun or quality affordable health care. Some 20K expats are there from all over the world. The city is absolutely beautiful and has everything you likely need.
