Your tutorials are my favourite resources for learning card stuff ^_^ I really enjoy doing more than just magic tricks with cards and you just explain it all so well (and all of the things you do tutorials for are really fun to do).
Try applying a different amount of pressure on the top card. If your cards are very clumpy then it may be difficult to separate the top card from the rest of the deck. Keep experimenting and you will get it eventually.
I tried to understand many tutorials in RUclips about this pull and did not understand as always when you teach that I understand perfectly you are an awesome teacher thank you so much asad
Your videos are very cool Asad. When i want to learn some new moves i just go to your channel and start practicing :D Thank you for everything! Never stop doing this ;)
Yup, that's the difficulty I have too. For me this is the most difficult card manipulation of them all, by a long way. I can do it easily with the deck supported by my other hand, but the pressure in the one handed grip makes it tough to do. As a hobbyist I'm unlikely to devote the time to it
I kinda got it, I did the same thing, I could do it if I used both hands, but I managed to get away by just lodging it out further with my pinky and it would move away from my thumb and just flick upwards, it took some time because at first it wouldn't go into the perfect palm spot but now it works better.
I love your videos, Asad. You explain well, you're a very good magician yourself, so you perform the moves well, you give tips and hits; overall the whole package. The only downside...I wish you would upload more regularly! Ha ha. That's just me being greedy, though. I know you must be a very busy man. :p I know I speak for everyone when I say this, but thanks for taking the time to show us some of the ropes in magic. We are very thankful. Keep up the good work! ^^
This is not an easy palm to learn and it needs lots of practice to perfect; I have just about got the hang of it after practising for several months ; at first I found it impossible to do and I would give up trying but then I would go back to it another day and practice some more; I did this repeatedly until I finally started to get the hang of it and found my own suitable finger positions; particularly my pinky position and now I am able to do it pretty good and I will improve each time I practice nowadays; So guys! don't give up trying you will get the hang of it eventually; I truly thought I would never be able to do it but perseverance and practice every day for half an hour or so got me there. Practice for short spells half an hour or so and then forget about it and go back and practice some more the next day and repeat it daily until you master it.
I seem to get a problem where it flicks up either too shallow although in the right position or ends up flicking to the outside part of my hand revealing part of the corner of the card. I think its because my hands are just barely the right size to palm a card and the bottom part of my thumb is very fleshy. Making it difficult apply enough tension to get past the fleshy part of my thumb shooting it outward or even just creating enough tension to make it a deeper palm. Anyone with a similar situation have any tips?
Can you PLEASE do a video on what the technical words mean in and to do with magic. Example: multi phase rountines, technique, effect, rountines, application and much more, i'd be really grateful if could do this for me and others, who need a little bit of help on this part of magic. THANK YOU!!
can you help me? the card won't spring up to my hand but it slides slowly through the skin between my thumb and my index finger up to the palm in perfect position.
Weird not sure if my fingers are to thick or what but it does not want to jump it just keeps that tension with my thumb unless I bend it in a painfully awkward and obvious way
Just discovered your channel and website. Kudos...got a quick question...one handed second card from the top one handed top palm...Phew!! have you seen or heard of anyone doing this...
Sorry im on an ipad wasnt my intension posting two comments, but I have a requesy. Could you maybe do a review of the new David blain black label white lions and silver split spades, a review of the Dan and Dave ultimate deck would've been awesome too! I just bought the silver split spades, really looking forward to getting them.
Ah thanks, maybe u can go over a method that showcases that. :D cause palming two cards can leave a nice surprise ending with the top card. But on anynote thanks for all ur tutorials ! great help !
My outer phalanx of my pinky is bent so its hard to hide the card because there's a natural gap in the 1st 2 phalanges when my hands bent. If I overlap my ring finger with the pinky then my hands become too small to hide the card:(
Good tutorial. A good misdirection is to pull up sleeves (if you have them) first with L then R hand and make the top palm on the exchange of the pack.
Hey is been awhile since your last vid on your 5 top fav decks, can you do another one soon? since so many new decks and everything have come out i need some good suggestions haha, can people thumbs up so he can see? xD
@@adityapai2173 I did stop complaining. Had a car accident and broke palm bones. Can’t do any of these anymore. Thanks for your nice and friendly encouragement ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have small hands and I can do his perfectly. Idk how I can palm a card without it showing because the card is still slightly bigger than my hand xD buy I can do this but not two handed top palm O_o

Is anybody getting a problem with their thumb not being able to move enough to let the card pas when the tension is built.

Just realized I learnt this the wrong way. 😡 After seeing this tutorial, I was able to do it perfectly! Thanks Assad.

can you help me? the card won't spring up to my hand but it slides slowly through the skin between my thumb and my index finger up to the palm in perfect position.

This move looks very useful. Great video!
asad, can you upload videos on how you can apply palming techniques in magic tricks? ty
I can never seem to get the card to clear my thumb. It always gets stuck there. Suggestions?
+Timothy Alder I can get past the first part of the thumb but at the skin crease at the joint it always gets stuck
+Timothy Alder the way I got around this was after side jogged the card I push my thumb outwards causing the card to pop up into my palm
Wahub Ali Thanks man, got it.
Amputation? lol
Use less cards
It took 7 years to RUclips torecommend me this. Thank God

Can you(or have you already) teach "Find The Queen" trick that you did on your other channel?
is there a way to palm the bottom card of the deck?
Thanks for teaching!! 😊
Good tutorial. A good misdirection is to pull up sleeves (if you have them) first with L then R hand and make the top palm on the exchange of the pack.

Expert at the Card Table has a few methods for palming a card off the bottom of the deck.
Can u palm off 2 cards with the top palm?

great tutorial, love your videos :)
You would have to use a different method for this.
How long did it take you to learn
I actually have a different problem. Every time I try to angle-jog the card, multiple cards move with it. My pinkie never moves a single card.

Just as a side note, this palm can also be used as a color change.
I'm just gonna assume my hand isn't big enough for this move..when I push there is no room for the card to clear the fatty part of my thumb..
Hmm how about if I want to palm the top two cards at same time?

I use bridge size cards. A lot easier.
Use smaller cards. Stop complaining. Anyone can do it. My sister has really small hands yet she is a beast at one handed flourishes and backpalms
@@adityapai2173 I did stop complaining. Had a car accident and broke palm bones. Can’t do any of these anymore. Thanks for your nice and friendly encouragement ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@Machiyalol sorry man. That sucks but if that's the case just either keep doing this and persevere or quit. Complaining isn't benefiting u or me
