Putting necro knight up against Diavolo might be cool, I've got ideas in mind, it's very fucking lengthy but to put it simply it's just how Diavolo could have ended up in yomih, and this functions on the infinite parallel universes of JoJo so everything has to be taken to it's absolute limits for this to work, alright. You ready ? Here goes nothing. The Diavolo in question is based off of dead man's question where his first punishment and death sentence was at the hands of his universe's giorno, this giorno acquired soul manipulation like that of scr and used it to dismantle and fracture Diavolo's already vulnerable soul after damaging the orb behind his soul into an infinite amount of fractions, putting him into unimaginable pain, which was then reconstructed in such a way his soul will always seek out other souls to devour in hopes of achieving it's impossible completeness, now with him in so much pain his brain doesn't have the capacity to process information giorno shoot a life embued rock through his killing him sending him to the spirit where he lives as a soul is too incomplete to be a true spirit but not enough to be anything lesser than an organism's soul with this he can free enter any occupied space without the need for entry permission from the occupants, he's lost his memory, always in pain, can enters occupied spaces freely, his soul always tries to devour wandering spirits he doesn't gain any personality traits and is a complete plank slate due to his death, that are the points so far, now onto how he got to yomih. Starting off he doesn't require any permission to enter any and all occupied space, with this he can technically travel the multiverse and he's willing as he's curious about his past life and is willing to do so to find out, in short he experimented and found a way to dimension hop in between 2 objects like d4c, immerging the battle between the bruno gang, Diavolo and scr whem he arrived at the Colosseum, his soul strangely felt manipulated, he resisted because of the amount of souls he's accidentally absorbed until now, he follows to find the source and encounters the part 5 group and Diavolo trying to get the requiem arrow, he instantly recognised one of them to be him and approach the main group as when bruno sacrificing himself, hes doesn't see the stand only the souls of people leaving the bodies to go back to go back to their original body, he was recognised as the soul of Diavolo and therefore was pulled towards the vessel, as he too is curious, he use the pulling as support and sprint full speed toward the body of his alternate self, him being a plank slate and hasn't absorbed any souls drastically changes his personality as no spirit have a unique personality anyway so it doesn't change much, now this, him and his alternate version went into vessel at the same time, allowing him to absorb that soul giving his memory and overwriting his personality, he only seems to stagger nothing much on the outside, changing his personality entirely by overwriting his memory with this version's making him effectively the same person just more chill, with the virus from the meteorite still remaining in system he reawakens the same kc, just with an insignificant strength boost because of him absorbing some souls (it also stings a little when he got up because of the unending pain but the soul is used to it so Diavolo just ignored the mild stinging and since he was put inside a vessel the only way to absorb souls is to kill someone and then make contact with the soul with his stand as the stand is just the manifestation of the soul) things plays out the same with giorno getting the requiem form and acquire life manipulation from the requiem arrow, tries to force him into thinking that his actions are meaningless by making him experience every possible possibilities of life and make the life he's lead meaningless by resurrecting him at different locations in different multiverses and yomi is one of his early lives, he's absorbed a lot of souls in his past lives and grew strong enough to even take on a star level threat like fallen.
