For those who aren't aware, you can use a regular looper pedal with the Yamaha THR30ii, using the line outs and the Aux port as a makeshift FX loop. It's not elegant but works perfectly once set up. The lower numbered THR models don't have line out so this is only for the 30.
@@SolidRoot YES! I use a Boss RC5 Looper (the new one with with Rhythms ). connect to L+ R line out and bought a special TRS splitter cable to connect back to Aux. ( J&D 3.5mm Klinke auf Dual 6.35mm Mono Y AudioKabel ). Works perfectly! 🙏
I’m not clear on whether I can use headphones with the spark 40 and this looper and retain the functionality of both. The diagrams on the Xsonic site don’t seem to show a headphone option. Can I use the line out on the pedal to plug in headphones directly? Thanks, Dave.
I am happy to now have a looper for the THR. But sad because I use the THR as an audio interface for my Akai Force, and that requires the USB port on the THR, as does the looper. Unfortunately, I’ll have to choose between the Force and the U looper. Yes, the Force has a built in looper, but sadly, It does not work with a footswitch.

Does this mean that each overdub can use different effects on the amp?

Really cool! It’s the looper I didn’t know I needed!
Haha that is the actual best description.
Good demo. Thank you. A must for the Spark!

Very helpful, thank you
Nice one! Do they have a list of all the compatible devices that the ULooper works with? I know they keep adding more
Waiting for the Katana update
Does volume drop when you change patches after loop?

Is it possible/likely for an update making it useable with the 1st Gen of Yamaha THRs?
I just asked and apparently yes, the original Yamaha THR is in the update list. 🤘🏼
@@DaveWebbMusic That's very good news.
Sorry, I am a beginner. Is it possible to export the recorded file?
