This is my favorite channel on RUclips. It’s just simple good content with not a lot of extra stuff or people. Seems like a lot people try to do too much now with huge plans giveaways 2 year projects or being too sensational. Well done Craig and Dan.
I am too. Really loving Craig tbh. I loved him and Sean - their chemistry was immaculate! But him by himself.. well with Dan... is amazing. Plus I've learned quite a lot from him.
This is why my dad said you should never ride your motorcycle in a farm field in winter through a snow bank. 😅 every single answer to every question you asked in this video goes back to the snow bank.
The screws are getting smaller and snow is getting deeper is one of the great metaphors for middle class in the world today!! Love the show, keep up the great work!!
Oh the nostalgia. I had a 78 KZ400 in college with a black Vetter fairing. It was a gift from my Grandpa when I graduated high school. It needed fixing and he fixed it. During high school my grandpa and I would go riding. He drove his 350 Honda and I drove the KZ.
Oh man, this one had me cracking up. When Dan reaches in and says “ you sure you’re doing it right” haha!! Then Craig uses the zillion scale, you know that sucker was hot! Keep the great content coming. Nothing like a fun motorcycle video to get the day off right. Thank you guys.
I recently acquired my grandfathers 1978 Honda Goldwing GL1000 and after a good carb cleaning i got it running alright then winter started so i put it in storage. Every time i watch one of these videos i get more excited to try getting it riding again. Thanks
Dude went from like 30k subs to 227k what a beast he deserves over a million and he will get there. His camera man does a great job and editing kudos to you brotha
I just bought my nieces daughter 3 baby geese and told them they are baby ducks it won’t be long until those “ducks” are attacking people. They were delivered yesterday. LOL
My first thought was "Don't' do it Craig!" but.... like every episode, I am glued to the screen, egging you on, and just really glad that it's not me out there. You are the man!
Craig this is why I enjoy your content you take a bike that most people would pass on and put it back on the road, I enjoy seeing the 70's 80's and 90's era bikes running around and those KZ's got a nice look to them like the CB's what are the future plans for the bike I would like to see more with it maybe some old school foam grips fix the windshield.
Great video as ever!!! I think Dan should have had a go.... I love the fact he started out as pretty much a bike sceptic yet over the last few months you've inadvertently moulded and sculpted him into a bike lover!!! He should have had a go on "the wing" but more so - you should buy a little 50-100cc for Dan to fiddle with and see if he can get going under your Craig's instruction..... I *KNOW* I'm not the only person who wants to see that!!! Hate to say it BUT Craig did a far better job with employing Dan than Sean did with "what's his face - can't even remember his name 🤯🤯" possibly an unpopular opinion, but it is what it is!
In the UK and Europe, this bike was the Z400. It was marketed as a "Ride-To-Work" commuter bike. It's direct competitors, at the time, were the Honda CB400N, Suzuki GS400 and the much faster Jawa 350-634 2 stroke (which was a lot cheaper).
I appreciate your "anybody can do this" kind of attitude. Watching you led me to buy a locked up late 70s bike for $200. Unstuck a stuck valve and got it rotating on day 1!
I had a Honda 450 about the same vintage. That old bike was very similar, I also had a KZ 550 LTD. I really liked both bikes. The Honda needed a little TLC to get it running great. This resurrection reminded me so much of those good old days with those dependable old rides. I love this bringing that old girl back to life.
I absolutely love watching you Craig the old school bikes are always the best I turn 49 in April and you always bring me back to my youth it really makes up for having to sell mine keep up the great tips I know you're going to get big on here
Found you shortly before you started your own channel. Have watched every video since. You seem like the the type of guys I could really on well with. Keep up the great work. Love every video! Favorite channel on RUclips!
This is one of the few channels i have youtube notify me of videos. I love your content Craig! Keep it up, it's helped me fix my own bike and even lawn mower haha!
My 1st bike in '87 was a Honda CM450t I got for $200.. Wasn't this bad though with the electrical stuff. New battery/tiers/chain & a carb rebuild got it going. Thanks for the memories. Feeling a little nostalgic.
😊 I just got off a 20 at home pulling my trans transfercase rebuilding and putting back in to realize my rear main is toast. I love trucks I love trucks ( burn it down )
I’m surprised you went ahead and put the fairing back on before trying to get the bike back on. 😂 well done though with troubleshooting, harnesses and electrical are a pain in the a**
Your comments on the wiring and the routing was such a heart touching fact for me. I found that even the factories at times would route the wiring in such a way that it often drove my blood pressure up and increased my negative vocabulary beyond adult activity to such a childish behavior.
Hi Craig from the UK, I had two of them at the sometime, one with front drum and one with front disc, great bikes, they just plod along all day. Keep up the great work
it is normal for a coil to get hot if you leave the key on for a long period of time and it is connected to the closed set of points. To avoid this put a thin piece of plastic between both sets of points. I do this while I chase electrical faults and know its going to be more than a few minutes
Makes me think of the motorcycle that was used in the movie purple rain ,. Lol except it's not purple , Craig should have a helmet with a prince wig when riding that , it's a cool motorcycle though 👍
I had a GS400 and put bags, a Rooster fairing and a seat like your KZ and took it to most every state east of Kansas. Small bikes can be tourers. Enjoy
I have a Vitacci Clash that has power to al the lights, gauges and electronic crank motor, but somehow the fuel pump doesn't seem to be getting power or getting enough power to inject fuel. I tried 3 different batteries, I've replaced the fuel pump and the ECU for the EFI control, but it's still a no go. 😕

I have to say, the motorcycling restoration community is really amazing. I've very recently started restoring a Moto Guzzi V50C (which will be my very first bike ever) back to working order while trying to make it as original as possible and a few people immediately so kind to send some part for just shipping, just because they like what someone is doing. I'm not used to that sort of kindness but it really is amazing how friendly and invested folks get when it comes to older bikes
Thank you guys so much for making all this amazing motorcycle content. I really enjoy watching you solve all the problems and making stuff work. This just feels like watching a lava lamp. Calm, suiting and relaxing. Just the perfect motorcycle videos. And not like your old channel/team work. That always felt like stroking a cacti or herding cats...... Keep up the great content and the junk bikes. we love it . Greetings from Norway
This is a great Channel. Craig and Dan are a dynamic duo and I get all the joy and satisfaction of troubleshooting motorcycles without getting my hands dirty...thanks Craig and Dan!
Hi, great to see you getting this Kawasaki on the road, I’ve an added interest in seeing both episodes of this kz 400cc as have the same engine, frame, tank, front forks, one wheel and assorted bits and pieces. Be another year or two before I get it up and running as fixing my trike up first. Anyway, was nice to see one running, just subscribed and looking forward too seeing more content, wish you the best🥃
In Brazil, some people are able to start motorcycles without using the key. They connect the positive terminal of the front brake sensor to the positive terminal of another motorcycle battery, and the negative terminal to any metal part of the motorcycle. This allows them to start the motorcycle. Have you seen anything like this?
You guys did it again! Another fantastic video! Craig, remember to turn the key off and also shut off your pen light when putting it in your pocket! Go Craig and Dan, keep moving forward! Can't wait to see where you take us next!
My 8 year old twin girls ask "can we watch the show that they count the kicks to start?".
Thanks for the clean motorcycle content. We love it.

Incredible mechanic, incredible bike, incredible channel....thanks for being here!
Coils. I remember replacing the coils on an early 70's Triumph. Then, the owner left the key on for over a half hour, burning out one of the coils.
This channel is the best. Major respect for Craig. He's really a talented mechanic and comedian.
I admire your patience. This was beyond frustration.
Yaaaay. Part 2. Cool little mini-tour bike. Hope to see it all polished-up in a future vid someday. Cheers. 👍

Electrical issues take next level patience. Love seeing Craig get these bikes going and love to see him overcoming failures
The crappier and more difficult for Craig…more fun for us! We’re not happy till we see tears in that beard 😉
Back in the day i was told never leave ignition on for too long or the coils would fry.😊
That's what I learned as well. Burn the points as well. Don't look up at geese do to droppings.
Keep vids rolling.
