#49 Hicks Gnarled Root Bell is an amazing looking Didgeridoo! The arts amazing but i find myself drawn to the natural looking ones. They all sound great in their own way.

Why do you refuse to use the instrument's proper name. Saying "didge" makes it sound like some kind of hybrid hippy/frat bro thing.

    • @didgeproject

There are many proper names that vary by tribe: yidaki and mago being some of them. Didgeridoo is a name given by Europeans. Which name would you like us to use?

Calling them all didges is probably the most respectful way of referring them. Theres some amazing looking yidaki in that batch. Its not cool to call something that isn’t made in a very specific part of northern Australia a Yidaki.
Other than yourself they’re not going to offend anyone with with the word didge. Cultural appropriation and all that.
Looks like you got some scorchers in that lot chaps.
