Does anyone else notice that most of the producers that are more worthy of being a mentor are usually simple people, calm, naturally fun, engaging, not full of over-hyped memes, intricately educational, and just enjoy the music they make? No? Just me? OK.
love your tutorials as Im studying UK garage beats, its influencing my chill psychedelic trap sound heavily, thank you Stranjah! that intro was hilarious too lmao
Don’t often comment, but I’ve been here since around 8k and it’s been great seeing your growth, in both subscribers and overall production quality. Keep it up man, I’ve progressed more then I realised was even possible, just from your videos:)
The before and after is super helpful. I like that call and response between the vocals and the stabs that you had in the arrangement in the end. I love Future Garage.
I'm so gassed to continue to see this channel grow every time I return! Absolutely deserved, came here when it was at the 6k mark and now you're above 20K, keep growing Stranjah, each video is better and better!
Great to explore Garage. I love why DnB artists explore Garage. Lung's Wait Less Suspense is a favourite album that touches on it. Glad you are breaking into this genre too. Did you ever listen to that album by Lung. Masterpiece.
The intro is amazing. The outcome was a little bit like putting broken pieces of a Burial track back together without the instructions though. The snare is way too late in my opinion - it could have been funky but ended up being slightly painful to listen to with it being the only element off the grid. Saying all that, love the work the work you’re doing on here!
I grew up in Britain it started in the hoods of London on pirate radio we used to have to go buy tape packs of the Giggs to hear dizzy rascal and sets that we're held in clubs mainly in a place called Milton Keynes
Nice one. LOL that intro. Not familiar with Future Garage, but good to see your succinct approach on the production. I've noticed in the past you sometimes mention some potential Ableton instruments for those without the plugins utilized. Would be great if you continued that going forward. Bigupyoself!
I love'd the hairdryer. I'd made me laugh a lot! I love 'dry 'humor! ;-) Soon i'l post a link for what i've did with the 'reesebass' video. Greetings! :-)
You say Burial funny! Is it a maple leaf thing? We say 'berry'all' 🤭 great vid. Was a nice little tune in the end. Nice to discover some other acts in the comments. It's quite hard to find but I love the genre.
There's some great playlists on Spotify for it if you use that. But yeah I had a hard time pronouncing the word during recording but I also do think its part of my Canadian accent lol 😆
STRANJAH, your tutorials are amazing but I’m always too busy commenting on the hilarious intros to ever say how much I enjoy the actual tutorials!! So now I have! But keep up the awesome intros too 😂
does anyone remember the artist, "Sines!" ? that dude had a run of some killer early era future garage like 12-13 years ago. i think he moved to making Trap. He's a Houston guy. If anyone can pull up an old mix of his from when he was making Garage that would be sweet.
Hey @stranjah, Tht was awesome, i got really inspired by this genre by listening to a track from dead gravity "solitude". Thats a whole another deep level future garage i was wondering how they make it sound so deep.
Don't really know much on the future garage scene but Burials stuff sounded nice but not really my side as I'm more a 2 step, old school 4/4 UKG head. But nonetheless I like your tutorials so I'll probably give it a watch.
@@KozKaii Yes but in a future style, dark lead lines, pitched rnb vocals etc, not in the typical style (kind of resembles El Bs style) The only thing is he uses off grid 2 step instead.
Future. . . Garage? can you address the differences between WitchHouse and Future garage? turns out Future garage is a thing and I've just been lumping it mentally in the WitchHouse genre, would love to hear someone else's take on the two
There is a huge difference between this two while witch house is more like wave music but darker, future garage is mostly keen on making drums sound experimental by using all the stuff around you.
1000 Likes for this video please! Name some Future Garage tunes and artists! 👍
There's Burial. And then there's everyone else. :P
Ghostek
Azelah. He has a more newer style but I'd still say it's future garage
Vacant
Asa & Sorrow
Jacques Greene
Another outstanding intro.
Thank you!

Vacant makes some great future garage too!
Just found this channel. Now I know what's been missing from my life this whole time.
Great to explore Garage. I love why DnB artists explore Garage. Lung's Wait Less Suspense is a favourite album that touches on it. Glad you are breaking into this genre too. Did you ever listen to that album by Lung. Masterpiece.
Best intro of human history! 😂

not keen on garage but watching you use ableton is learning me loads. your videos are awesome
glad you can still pick something up from it
You read my mind with these videos
nooo, I just realised in college when this air's. Wounded will have to watch when back.
Cool stuff man. If you add some 16 Swing from the Groove Pool to those drums you can make them hit 'off-the-grid' a bit. big up.
i'm a fan of your intros :))
I’ll bring them back
I would say that another great future garage artist would be Vacant. Hi brings a burial feel but with much more energy and depth in his tracks
with all the fires/smoke here i'm feelin the emotion of this one. gonna work on a good track like this...
good to hear that, definitely got the feels.
Loving the intros lately

Just come across your channel (thank you, algorithm) and I’m impressed. Your format and presentation is clear and precise. Love it!
Another 10/10 vid
Finally, thank you. Love this.
You're welcome!

Same... it seemed like off the grid but not with a tasteful swing. Great tips and advice tho
I grew up in Britain it started in the hoods of London on pirate radio we used to have to go buy tape packs of the Giggs to hear dizzy rascal and sets that we're held in clubs mainly in a place called Milton Keynes

Intro is comedy gold.
U are the real MVP

Thank you man!
Wicked video! I think people will take a lot from this, myself included.
Brilliant intro!!

Everyone should use a hairdryer in their intros.
U should do a full tutorial on how to mixdown a track!
Gives me FWM, Jeriko and Lucid vibes 😉
Please, more tutorial for operator because this is very good Sin
What tool do you use for parallel compression? Thx🙂

I love'd the hairdryer. I'd made me laugh a lot! I love 'dry 'humor! ;-) Soon i'l post a link for what i've did with the 'reesebass' video. Greetings! :-)

Yes haha I was hoping someone would get the humour!
STRANJAH, your tutorials are amazing but I’m always too busy commenting on the hilarious intros to ever say how much I enjoy the actual tutorials!!
So now I have! But keep up the awesome intros too 😂
What program are you using?

Make captain bass synth ?
Can you do a video on the synths from upgrade - it's possible please, would love you forever ❤️
Great tutorial! - would love to see a tutorial on KLLO style beats, they blend UK/Future garage and house
Iove this
BWAHAHAHA! Love the opening! My gosh! LOL.
Shit, that intro got me
Definitely not my sound, but well done Alan. I really like the chimes. I think they would be a great layer to a pad in some ambient jungle ;)
Thanks
Don't really know much on the future garage scene but Burials stuff sounded nice but not really my side as I'm more a 2 step, old school 4/4 UKG head.
But nonetheless I like your tutorials so I'll probably give it a watch.
thank you, yes love the original flavas
Burial is mostly known for his 2step tracks 🤔
@@KozKaii Yes but in a future style, dark lead lines, pitched rnb vocals etc, not in the typical style (kind of resembles El Bs style)
The only thing is he uses off grid 2 step instead.
Yes yes u reached ur 20k
Lowkey sounds like he said "more fuckin' groove" 3:18

The intro😂
Another artist would be Desolate, eg. Desolate - Endurance or Desolate - Divinus.
Top Dog !!!
Ik begrijp het nu ook
I love what you do but there is one thing that just sounds off beat
submerse and resketch got me into future garage
