If you ever go somewhere where they’ve freshly roasted chestnuts try those! I tried packaged ones and they were gross. I think Disney is going to have some at on of the holiday booths in Epcot. They are always kind of a dry potato-y texture though so it helps to know that going in lol

We served the lemon ricotta cheese last year at our Christmas party and everybody thought it was okay. And then I told everyone to try it with the Trader Joe's Meyer Lemon Cookie Thins and WOW!! Pairing these two makes the cheese taste like cheesecake!! The employees suggested we try them together. Needless to say, both were gone in a very short time.

Chestnuts are always soft.. You can bake them in the oven, not just on an open fire.. They are delicious.. We eat chestnut stuffing with Christmas dinner in the UK! Or put in a frying pan with brussel spouts to go with roast dinner. Hansel und Gretel are kids lost in a wood, caught by a witch (who's house is made gingerbread covered in sweets). She feeds them sweet treats to fatten them up so she can eat the children...they escape and push her into her oven. Fun vlog😊.
Just tried the Scandinavian gummies. Wow they are very flavorful. What do you think of the Christmas tree shaped ones? My first thought was pine flavor.

I love your Trader Joe's holiday taste test. I wish we had a Trader Joe's here where I live in Idaho. The closest one to us is in Salt Lake City which is about a 3 hour drive from where I live.
Everybody, run don’t walk to Trader Joe’s, locally in south Florida a lot of these products are already sold out…I tried the pumpkin pie, delicious, more spicy than most store bought pies. Did you try the cranberry goat cheese? It didn’t look too appetizing but love most other cheeses there. My go to is the boxed Lighthouse dark chocolate covered salted carmel, yum! ✨

The meat of the chestnut is a softer texture. It’s not like other nuts. Loved your taste test. Definitely need to make a trip to TJs.
