I am extremely glad that your channel is getting noticed by some sponsors. And giving you the means to bring us videos like this and able to test newer products out there. Well done to you and keep up the hard work.
Thank you!
For sure I really do love it. I hope more sponsors are able to reach out.
It's nice to see some of the more affordable modern cards like this one being showcased as well. I would find something like a 4090 review boring because it's completely unattainable for the majority of people, and because it's already been done to death by all the big channels.
yeah out of al the tech channels, RGIHD is probably the most under sponsored. Hope that continues to change! Though I also hope he will vet the companies toughly as well.
Aye!
I'm sure you won't read this, but I have to say thanks. 9 months ago, I was battling cancer, and during my treatment, I binge your videos to help with the pain and side effects, to take my mind off the situation. And I was always looking forward to your videos. Thank you very much. 🔥
I hope you're well and getting better friend
Hey bro you doing well
I've always loved the subdued and minimal looks of Radeon cards
Yeah same
Especially Powercolor, Palit, Gainward.. when they don't mess with huge branding fonts and stupid names like Hellhound or Devil something
Don't you want it to look like a JET FIGHTER
@@amehu Yeah, not a fan of spaceship looking things, i.e the typical "gamer esthetic". I'm 37, not 13.
They still look really nice. The lack of a unicorn disco is appreciated too 😂
As always amazing content, thank you so much for your hard work. It really means a lot that you are getting recognition for your hard work by large companies since your consistency is unparalleled over the years!
These videos must take a lot of hours to make, really appreciate the effort!
I just bought a powercolor 6700XT, also like the design :)
opened youtube with the intention to watch one of your old videos while waiting for a new one to come out
you never fail to bring joy to me man
thank you
❤
Nice to see that your channel got sponsored! I will probably get my next PC case from AWD-IT as they are the cheapest for the one i need :D
I might be late but Congrats on 500K subs RGinHD! halfway to 1Mil
A comparison with the 5700XT I think would be interesting as that, although the highest AMD Model at the time was seen as a mid range card
Yeah good idea
that was what i was thinking, it's also 8GB and a looooot cheaper to find used, especially compared to nvidia counterparts like 3060
5700xt will eat this one like nothing.
@@madmartigan9720 7600 is faster than 5700xt
@@RandomGaminginHD Maybe a RX580 too :)
The title with Background grass looks awesome ❣️ with Awesome content❤❤
Powercolor makes some great cards that are really fairly priced. I had a rx 6600 hellhound and it handled cyberpunk at 1080p medium, and stayed cool and quiet. Pretty good for $250 a year ago. I upgraded to a 2080ti a few months ago, and gave the 6600 to my brother, as a trade for the 1650 he was using.
Plus Red Devil as premium cards
does the 2080ti perform actually better?
@@intifadayuri 2080ti is way faster than a 6600 it’s basically 3060ti performance with way less powerful rt
@@AstralKits way more vram
@@ariesleo7396 tbh I mistakenly thought the 2080ti had 8gb T-T
This is more refined 6650xt, it will be great for everyone once it goes down to 199 or less. The only problem I foresee about this card this season is if the RX 6700xt 12gb gets slashed to around 299$ or lower as it will be a no brainer to choose that instead. The RX 6700 10gb is also currently giving this new card a run for its value as I've seen them for as low as 249$ on newegg...
As of now you can get this for 235$. But I do agree that 6700xt is a better choice, more performance and 12gb vram.
I’m actually glad you have a sponsor too, you need some return on your hard work you’ve done for us and maybe it will help elevate what you can test too 👌
I asked Bing Copilot and it said this thing ranges between 22 to 43 FP32 teraflops. To put that into perspective, that makes the RX7600 on equal computational power as the 2002 JAMSTEC Earth Simulator supercomputer which was comprised of several blade servers occupying entire rooms. That's amazing that we've advanced that much technology.
I'd like to make a suggestion. Could you add with your benchmarks the highest temperature that it reaches during a game?
Great video as always.
Great video but the thing you did not mentioned is that the GPU interface is PCIe 4.0 x8 not x16. Yes it only meant for low end monitors for PC users that still play their game titles on 60hz to 100hz monitor. but over all @RandomGaminginHD great video and glad to see that you are picking up good sponsorships for your brand overall sir, great video.
I avoided every other review (even the brazilian ones I trust, since I'm from brazil) because yours is truly amazing and well made, besides you're honest and bring the tests close to the reality. So glad you're this huge now
mandou o papo meu querido!
Boa
I just bought this card, the XFX Speedster Qick 308 version.
Glad to see it does quite well at high settings at this resolution which is what I have. Great video, thanks!
What are the temps with the 308 ? And does it have any driver issues?
Speaking of your sponsorship, I was looking at that exact graphics card on AWD-IT since it's a local to me. Since the RX 580 8GB has really gone down in price though, I'll get one of those first before upgrading to the RX 7600.
this is great, thank you for this!! I wonder how it will do with streaming, hopefully AV1 performance holds up.
Excellent testing! Thank you so much. Hoping for an RX 7600 XT or 7700 soon. 8GB w 1080 performance is great but I'm more interested in 1440 potential.
8gb 1080p is starting to push it now. I'm hoping next gen they bump them up to 10+gb and have 8gb reserved for the 8500 XT or something. Games and programs are outgrowing 8gb even for 1080p unfortunately
1440p is out of the question with an 8 GB GPU.
1080p is pushing it, today, with an 8 GB GPU.
1080p = 10 GB +
1440p = 12 GB+
4K = 16 GB+
I should say that some games will probably work just fine at 1440p but, just don't. Get a proper GPU for the resolution you want to play at that has the proper amount of VRAM.
At this rate we may be seeing you reporting about tech on the showfloors of the next CES or Computex alongside the big techtubers... Keep at it you're doing great!
That is pure dedication.
😁
Great Gpu for the budget end, just wish it was around 190£
Yeah I agree, there's 0 point of buying this over a rx 6650xt considering that they're cheaper...
Yeah hopefully will see a drop in price over the coming months
@28thMagicKing I got one of those for like 230 a few months ago... definitely an amazing deal
Looking good - I'd now like to see a comparison (in a few games, not all of them) of this card vs the new RTX 4060Ti to see which would be the better buy for 1080p gamers.
nice video! just got my i5 12400f :)
I am. REALLY HAPPY that you are doing this in a garden and not LED room like everyone else..
Nice to see that i5-12400f really letting that 7600 stretch its legs. What a killer combo! One I may just have to upgrade to... Just not particularly huge on the 8GB frame buffer
8gb SHOULD be enough for 1080p.
Game Devs are passing on optimisations too the consumers too brute force.
Their games look mediocre but eat 10 gb of vram?
rx7600 isn't fast enough to make a 12400 sweat
@@loowick4074 100% agree - but we're also talking about 8GB, which has already been around for a long time. It's time now to upgrade these more "mid-range" products to at least 10, ideally 12G of VRAM. In my opinion
@@mikepawlikguitar I wouldn't mind but it's an excuse for companies not too optimise.
8gb should be less for 1440 p but adequate for 1080p.
I mean the games don't even look good but demand all your cpu, gpu , vram
@@loowick4074 you're right. It does kind of make you question where their priorities are at.
thanks for testing cyberpunk with full crowds! I've needed to upgrade my gpu for blender and was hoping this one would be able to handle cyberpunk in my downtime with better settings.
Surprised to see Skyrim SE in the benchmarked games, it's one of those games that i still play to this day, so it's interesting to see that getting included
Just picked up this exact card. I love it! HUGE upgrade from my 750 ti
What temperatures you usually get?
@@HowyDarko below 85c I believe the highest I recorded was like 83c or maybe only 73c but I have a hard time believing that
@@titustech337 that’s high a little bit.. thanks for taking the time and replying
@@HowyDarko it’s actually not very high for gpus. CPUs tend to start getting dangerous around 85c + but gpus are more like 100c. They have much bigger coolers and can get a lot hooter. 85c isn’t really that bad for a dual fan air cooled card
One of the most genuine and humble channels
great card i am very happy with it (my last card was a GTX 1660) its a vast improvement.
Hello Mr. RandomGaming
Cs:go won't let me use MSI Afterburner. Can I ask, what apps are you using to see those benchmarks?
TF2, on an rtx 3050 laptop, struggles sometimes. thank you for adding it to the list of games.
i really wanna see a single fan version of this
A single fan 165W GPU? The only way you're getting that is in blower style and most people dislike those coolers because of the noise.
ah, really nice to see team fortress 2 in these videos as someone who plays on it often but thinks about upgrading & how it would play on different systems.
did you connect a 6pin connector or 8 pin or 6+2pin to the RX 7600? it's just that my graphics card doesn't start from 6pin😢
How does it perform on a PCIe 3.0 mobo?? Or was your testing done on 3.0??
Would you recommend the 7600 as a budget card for starfield?
G'day Random,
I am really liking your Multi Game Benchmark videos with a good mix of older & newer games, it will be great to see some Hero GPUs from the past get a video like this too.
Unlike 4060Ti which in pure Raster Performance has barely any increase & a decrease in some games against 3060Ti so effectively the same as last gen unless you only play DLSS3 Games I think the RX7600 is a reasonable buy, compared to last gen you are getting a reasonable upgrade accrding to TechPowerUp GPU DataBase of about 30% to 6650XT/6700XT performance at 10% cheaper than 6600.
The biggest problem for 7600 I think is that there are still 6000 GPUs available at very discounted prices so if 7600 & 6700XT are close in price if you go 6700XT you get same core performance but the better memory performance of 12GB & 192Bit Bus
"you are getting a reasonable upgrade accrding to TechPowerUp GPU DataBase of about 30% to 6650XT/6700XT performance"
Nope, barely better than a 6650 xt, slower and less vram than a 6700xt which you can often find on sale at slightly higher price.
@@jutube821 Did you open up the bit that says "Read More" ???
because if you had you could have read the whole sentence to get the context,
The whole sentence is "compared to last gen you are getting a reasonable upgrade accrding to TechPowerUp GPU DataBase of about 30% to 6650XT/6700XT performance at 10% cheaper than 6600." The 30% performance increase is TO 6650XT/6700XT performance, NOT 30% OVER 6650XT/6700XT performance, then the 10% cheaper is in reference to 6600MSRP.
On the GPU DataBase the difference between 7600 & 6700XT is only about 5% which you claim for the same gap between 6650XT & 7600 is "barely better than"
also if you had read the rest you would have seen that I did say that because of the current very discounted last Gen prices the 6700XT is a better buy because of the 12GB & 192Bit Bus.
6700XT was just on sale on Newegg for $320. Hell of a card for the price and better than the more expensive RTX3060 in most cases
Got one for $230 used on ebay a few weeks ago. Easily plays all my games at 1440p ultra at over 60fps.
you mean rtx3060ti?
@@Tonyx.yt. no I meant exactly what I said.
@@SmithBeatZ1 of course rx6700xt its better, basically everytime and on average even with RT enable
@@SmithBeatZ1 the 6700xt even out performs the 3070 in some games.
What's with the test at ancient 1080p res? I use onboard 5600g for 1080p.. or some ancient GTX 960 ..
me doy cuenta que 16gb ram ya no es suficiente :O
hermano que programa usas para ver las numeros?
The cooler doesn't look like much but consider how small it is. This specific card is actually the most powerful card currently in the ~200mm ITX category. There is a 4060ti that is around the same length, but it's significantly taller, so will likely break compatibility in a lot of cases where this cooler design would make sense. I would love to see a 7700XT close to this size but I don't know if the TDP is too much. In the era of monster coolers, it's easy to underestimate the strengths of sticking strictly to a 2-slot limit.
I really like the performance of the entry level 7600, not for me as I am good for now with my 2060s, but I can see people with a rx 580, 1060, 1660(s), 1650 and even 2060. I am looking forward to the 7600 xt / 7700 / 7700 xt. The 4060ti did not do it for me.
Would this be a good card to replace a GeForce GTX 1660 super, mainly for strategy games like Total War and such?
Thanks for the amazing review! Also for a limited time
Customers who order this graphics card can claim a free copy of Resident Evil 4.
I currently have an MSI RX6650 XT Gaming X, is it worth buying the RX7600 outside of RDNA 3?
yes 15 fps more and good 0.1% low
just bought one after watching this video, paired with an ryzen 5 7600x, for 1080p 180hz this card is awsome delivers good & constant performance and not very power hungry always at 50deg
and for my usage which is competitive gaming its more than enough. thanks for the awsome benchmark
Can you help me I have a question. Will this GPU be able to run 3 monitors with 1 monitor gaming and other 2 just casually on your gpu with just normal using?? If not please help me I’m trying to fin GPU under $300 that can run 3 monitors 1 for gaming and other 2 just normally using
NIce card for me, but one question, can it run Wreckfest?
Finally getting sponcers ✊
Btw what's the power draw..I was thinking of upgrading my GPU
.but I have 450watt psu..is it enough
I'd be curious how high the settings of the System Shock Remake can go on new lowend cards like the 7600 and 4060 and still being produced older cards like the 6700 and 6700 xt. It seems to run well onlder cards at 1080p so it would be interesting to see if cards like this could manage 4k or something.
esa grafica va bien con la i5 12400f? no le hace cuello de botella? a 1080p
hello.can rx 7600 can handle 1000+mod skyrim :SE? thx a lot.
btw, i need to know if same video card can handle far cry 3 and far cry 4.
and i have pdf file for future pc gaming,so i need your review
Very recently bought a PowerColor RX 6600 with this exact design, as they got dirt-cheap with AMD trying to get rid of old stock. For the price, it's a surprisingly quiet and efficient little card, probably a genuine value king at the moment (unless you find an RX 6650XT with a deep discount, which would put almost exactly at RX 7600 performance). :)
Nice :) the 6600 is a great deal right now
got a used refurbished rx 6700 xt for 330 in the eu, only like 20 eur more for what the 7600 sells for
Same. I got one for $140
used of course, but perfectly clean card.
For some reason here in mexico, the 6650xt along with the 6600 and the 6700xt all sell between $150 to $300 USD, used of course but they are 1 year old gpus so that's fucking ridiculous considering i bought my brand new pulse 6650xt back in december at $320 with two free games.
@@TheWow1323 I bought the new 6600 for $240, but I've seen one for $210 recently and the retail taxes in Poland are pretty high. No wonder the used ones get crazy cheap if they want to sell at all. :)
For warzone this GPU with ryzen 5600 or this 12400f ?
During your testing did you find any issues?
To day i bought rx 7600 sapphire and when i open msi afterburner my core clock 2980 and mem clock 2300 its ok or wierd?
Thanks for testing out tf2!!! I've been playing it on integrated graphics (just barely lol) for many years and am about to make the jump to ryzen 5 5600 + rx6700xt and was kinda curious on how it would perform, good to know high settings nets you such high frame rates.
Have you tried reviewing those AliExpress refurbs where they take ex-miners and solder them chips to a new board?
Did you tweak something in the Radeon Software?
Nah just installed the driver without the Radeon software
in kingdom come you should download the free hd textures dlc. I run it on my rx6600 and it's pretty good. The dips in KCD are entirely cpu based, however. KCD really hammers one core more than others and it shows when npcs are wandering about.
Could you perhaps test the raytracing performance for this gpu ?
FYI, although you probably know this being a GPU guy, but TAA is really designed for NVIDIA graphics although it works for AMD as well. However, TAA can be a little more demanding on the CPU , When using a AMD graphics like I am now (with my ASRock PG RX 7600) I like to use either MSAA or if I can get a good framerate I would use SSAA. But I have used TAA before when I was using a GTX 1070 Ti. BTW, You are my go to source of info on the performance of GPU's. Keep up the great work! Cheers!
i get roughly 60-80 fps with a 6800xt at 1080p for some reason with a 5800x using like 40% of the gpu any idea how this could be fixed?
Could you include Minecraft Java with a shader like RethinkingVoxel in your tests?
I was planning to wait for that card. Glad i couldnt wait and bought a RX 6750xt instead.
I got this gpu a few days ago. I can say it's amazing, I chose it over the rtx 4060 and I'm very glad to have gotten this, raw performance is a bit better. I really trust the amd engineers and developers to add proper software to this gpu
Cant wait till the 1440p benchmarks come out too!

I have a serious question, last summer I had both a 3080 and rx 6800xt and when i put the 3080 in my pc after taking out the 68xt, I swear even after changing the rgb setting to full range and all that it just looked bad compared to the amd gpu, idk what it was the colors didn't pop as hard but there was something else about it I did not fancy.
Maybe it had to do with your monitor settings, I know the GeForce drivers kinda bug out when they see other graphics drivers

Nice balanced review. As a comparison I purchased a Sapphire RX 580 Pulse 8GB in November 2017 (just before the first GPU mining boom), for £250. Currently Ebuyer are selling the Sapphire RX 7600 Pulse for £260. Watching various RUclips video's The RX 7600 (current lowest tier card) gives from 100% to 300% more performance than the RX 580 8GB (the then highest tier card), for just an extra £10 note! I think AMD are aiming at RX 500 series and RX 5000 series owners to upgrade to the RX 7600 not last gen higher tier cards which most other reviewers are comparing it to.
You'd be better off spending a little more for a 3060 and have something that will last just as long, if not longer than your 580
@@desanoxia Price is same for 3060 12GB & RX 7600 here in UK @ £260. The RX 7600 at 1080p & 1440p is still on average 10-20% faster than the RTX 3060 tested by Jegs TV over 15 games. Don't think he tested RT just raster performance, personally not interested in RT, so the RX 7600 might be an option for my 2nd PC which currently has the RX 580.

Isn't that game CPU bound ?
if it's not on steam it doesn't exist
Since you have both cards, and they are both disappointingly only wired for 8 lanes of pci-e, perhaps a video checking the performance degradation of both the 4060ti and 7600 on pci-e 3.0 systems would be good. Odds are your motherboard has a setting to drop to 3.0 speeds. 300/400 chipset Ryzen owners and 10 Gen and back Intel owners are likely to be interested in these cards to keep their systems relevant, as their CPUs are likely still fine.
Ouh fuck for the moment I forgot it's pcie 4!Another big no for me then, except the high price!Guess I stick w 1070 ti for a year and wait for next gen to upgrade the whole system...
Did they just make an exactly the same card as RX 6600 but with different GPU chip?
No, it's exactly like RX 6650XT though.
