  • While it is certainly convenient to purchase new games from home, and download the PDF for immediate play, there can be some limitations. For example, the game of Mausritter uses cardboard counters to keep track of equipment and conditions that diminish character inventory space. In this video I will demonstrate how to make your own cardboard backing for self-printed game counters, by recycling an empty oatmeal container. The technique could easily be applied to any other preferred material; but, this is a great way to repurpose a container rather than putting it in the recycle bin. I hope other TTRPG'ers find it useful. Feel free to ask anyone questions in the comments section below. Thanks for watching.

We don't have oat meal containers here, but I could use the cardboard back of thicker A4 collage blocks. :)

Aye, that should work well. I have a pad of graph paper with a thick cardboard backing that I had my eye on before I thought of the oatmeal container. Cheers!
