Thanks for sharing,man! Hella album,huh? Caught their Dallas show for this tour at The Basement. It was an off night there because Pantera and Lord Tracy had the usual metal crowd off elsewhere. Less than 10 people there,total. They played like it was 10,000! Band was friendly and way cool afterwards. Cheers to Victory! All Hail The Basement,Dallas Texas
They sound like if Ted Poley fronted Running Wild or if he fronted Leatherwolf. This band is amazing and every song is killer! I love this album and the band! Rock on!
I have heard that Gary Moore visited the opening act victory because he was blown away by the guitar Sound.....and he was astounded, only Engl Amps.........

Victory......AWESOME band that DID'NT get enuff credit....this is my favorite lp by them although the other singer Charlie Huhn from their previous offerings is just as good........Victory like th' Scorpions just DONT make a bad album.......also Herman Frank (once in Scorpions & Sinner) should also be noted that he started in the early 80's w/ another band called Hazzard& it's well worth you TRUE metal heads 2 check it out........Victory had a LOT of talented musicians.
Man, Herman Frank was Accept's guitarist until 2014 and he played in Restless and Wild and Balls to the Wall back in the 80's, but never in Scorpions... as far as I know. Maybe you're mistaking him with Herman Rarebell. Great album btw, as well as Sinner's Touch of Sin. And don't forget Tommy Newton, one of the best European metal producers of the 80's and 90's who also played in all the classic Victory albums.
Victory was hugely supported by Scorps and Michael Schenker. These three are my favorite German bands. Although the singer isn’t German. But he’s fantastic. And sadly he left the band after this album which is honestly their best work.

@@susanselikhova347 'Culture' was not VICTORY's last album with Fernando on vocals. He did 3 more albums with them after this. The follow-up 'Temples of Gold' is nearly as good as 'Culture'.
Everything went fine on the band at that time back in 1988 while they did recording this in Holland at the Wisseloord studios in Hilversum with the helping hands by Albert Boekholt(producer) who worked with Def Leppard "Hysteria".Great songs,in great cover........everything was perfect.Their choice was really correct and Fernando did great job on this album even he was really unknown at that time.They had several auditions and Ted Bullet(Thunderhead) was one of them.They tried Jon Deverill from ex-Tygerd Of Pan Tang but it did not work.....I once heard from Peter Knorn,the bass player,of this band.
I don't know if these guys have ever made a bad album. Everything I've listened to seems to be pretty good. Wish I knew their guitarists better. The only one I really know is the guy that was in Accept.
