walterrodney nagumo. Of course it may have contributed to him being emotional. I suspect that he is a caring person in general, also before he was diagnosed. Ilyaas Arsala Your ok,dont be sorry..I Actually meant it towards the person who made the original comment..Gabriella Nickson..She commented a false fact..Unfortunately.
Chadwick Boseman was not just an actor. He was a hero who fought through the devastation of cancer to produce a flawless performance. However the beauty of this man's story is that it wasnt just a performance. He fought for a cause greater than his own. "Yibambe" means "Hold Strong" in Xhosa and the Black Panther did just that. He suffered in silence so that through him others could one day be heard. In my opinion, that is his greatest feat. Thank you Sir. Your legacy will not be forgotten. CHAD FOREVER!
We never fully realised how much he meant 'this means a lot' to him. for us to find out that he was having his own battle with cancer just makes it that much more real and heartbreaking
This made me cry. When be talked about talking to the cancer patients while he was making the movie. . . And he had cancer. This man had fulfillment and purpose that many healthy people lack. Men walking dead at the age 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80. This man chooses to dedicate sharing happiness with others. He is a true hero. His character is better than the fictional movie. A true man of leadership and courage. A role model all men should also aspire too.
hamada garip you worry about your own life, when you die, that’s it, you’ll go to where ever you believe you belong, if there’s a heaven, I’m pretty sure Chadwick is there, he had a huge heart for everyone and as he never made his own plight public - he was a selfless man, a good man, a man with genuine love in his heart, soul and mind. Can you say the same, will others say that about you, I hope so. This is your life, live it.
The fact that he revealed this story of 2 kids battling cancer and not his own makes him a TRUE superhero. He tried his damndest doing more for those kids than his own self
He was JACKIE when he battle racism He was JAMES when he battle poverty He was T'CHALLA when he battle the world, but we never knew he was CHADWICK BOSEMAN when battle cancer. REST IN PEACE BOSSMAN BECAUSE THAT'S WHO ARE. 🌟👑🌟
The fact that this man was battling cancer himself and wanted to be amazing to finish this movie for kids who were literally fighting for their lives just to see the movie is truly incredible. I didn't know Chadwick personally, but the news of his death shocked me because he had such a presence onscreen or in press interviews like this. And reading that he never revealed his battle with cancer makes him even more noble, and his loss even more painful. He seemed like a truly good human being. :(
2 years later and now he's gone. He gave those kids inspiration like he did the rest of us, even though he was going through the same thing. A great man. RIP Chadwick
That's why he was so emotional in this interview. He felt the pain of the kids' cancer because he has been battling that illness too. RIP, Chadwick Boseman! 😭
He and the cast are not only making an impact on the African American community but I feel like the whole world 🌎 ❤️ It’s so nice to see an actor be a human being... and so genuine. I love Chad even MORE now
HAZZARD Doesn't matter, if you're black of skin color you are related to Africa. If not, yea then no. As to the person who posted, it does have an impact. Recent social experiments point out that black panther is very uplifting to the black community in the Netherlands
Not really, this is the beginning of something very big. This movie alone causes the entire black community going towards an uplifting storm apparantly.
HAZZARD as someone of color, I believe this movie gives all of us hope. There’s finally a movie with an all black cast, paying homage and respect to the culture. Finally, a black character who is NOT a maid, token black friend, or slave. It’s so refreshing! I am not black but seeing this kind of change makes me happy bc we finally get to see all skin colors in their respectable roles
K dlc Exactly the reason this is going by storm among the black community and controversial to the alt right people. This has been censored by society forever and now that it is put on the silver platter for us means that we are going somewhere with the various movements for the black community
Back here after Wakanda Forever. It was not only a great film about grief and how it manifests and changes us, but a beautiful and moving tribute to Chadwick and his legacy. King, I hope you're resting well with Ian and Taylor. You will never be forgotten as our king of Wakanda.
I've not seen this interview before but knowing how much pain he's hiding, holding back inside while honouring children who were suffering with a similar condition... That's what selflessness and humility looks like in real human beings. Truly inspiring!
I agree. This man is a real hero and is a true definition of the quote "in the end its not the years in your life that count; it's the life in your years.
Absolutely. You can tell he had this graciousness and kindness just through his eyes. Everytime I'd see a video of him I'd have to stop and stare cuz its so odd these days to see that (especially in Hollywood). Not surprised he was a man of faith. So sorry he's gone.
@Ziggy Sobatka Oh if that's the case then get the fuck out. And quit being salty that this dude managed to do more with his life in the short time he had it than you ever will.
@Ziggy Sobatka Mate the only clown here is you. He was more than an actor, because he provided people around the world a role model. And showed many people including myself what it truly means to be a humble human being. I'm sure a sad loser like you could never comprehend that, but if you could manage to wipe the salt out your eyes then you'll see. Have a nice day my good sir.
While he was battling cancer he was still living a life of service to those two little boys and countless others. A true King, a true hero. You can feel his heart. Mr. Chadwick Boseman you will be our forever Black Panther and sorely missed. Your talent was immeasurable. Our hears are broken, my heart is broken. But you are are peace now. CEOofFRESH1 W H I T E T E A R S. At the end of the day, Black Panther's still hitting theatres, and ain't nothing gonna change that. 🤷♀️ Tolerance or lack thereof, bleh. White validation is unnecessary. What's most important is self-love and unity amongst us Black people. We haven't made any mistakes worth being dreaded for. If something comes up, well, we're the best of schemers.
I think the most beautiful thing about this is how Lupita Nyong'o and Danai Gurira just laid hands on him. They channelled their energy into him to make him stronger. Really really beautiful. How we can support each other in a time of need.
When he starting crying i started crying too....this is deep man..heart of gold..god took him home ..no more pain..ur in the hands of god now in heaven..your work is done here. Ill see u up there..ok..soon
This is what the actors and directors who are saying that these are not interesting movies to make don't understand. Sure, it may be shallow compared to films with complex stories. But it's about the characters. No matter how good or bad the movie is, kids are looking up to these "heroes." Kids with terminal illnesses are given another reason to stay strong. So for all the people saying these are "CGI fests" or that it doesn't require talent, well, there are kids out there just basking on the spectacle of seeing comic book characters on screen. That's priceless.
Christian Joel Cabrera , it is about talent, otherwise anyone from any part of d world can just walk through the directors and get a role( probably bribe or something) that's why casting is such a tiring job
@Nostalgia Crown come on fam, the movie ain't that complex. Anyone who knows about the struggle can see the bigger picture, or get the message of the movie
My heart hurts losing my favorite actor man... Despite his difficulties he never showed it. He was actual true to himself as he was with the people he portrayed. That really speaks volumes 💔
I've seen people talk about how he looks weak and he's not fit to portray a superhero and all. Well all this time he never let anybody know about his battle and the process he was going through made him look weak but his will was always strong, he fought and fought hard till the end. He did so much for others while fighting his own battle, and that's what makes him the true superhero, the true King he was. Rest in peace man. You are with the ancestors now. #ChadwickForever 💔
Everyone says he was crying for himself inside but I think he honestly thought about everything he’d achieved already and all the opportunity he has had as compared to these two little ones and it broke his heart. In a way he was seeing himself as a child that never had an opportunity to become the man that he is and that hurt. To know that he was placed with an opportunity to somehow inspire and brighten those kids’ life as a Hero, while he himself is dealing with the very same issue, is Amazing. He was not just a Hero in the movie to those kids. To lay down your own life for the Love for another. There’s no greater Love than that. On Earth it was Wakanda Forever, But in Heaven may He rest in the Lord Jesus Christ Forever.
Im crying cuz the way he was mentioning the African culture made me choke and yes I'm a dumb ass stupid kid trying to be a hero that anyone likes and yes I'm try to give everyone their freedom and ILL NEVER GIVE UP NO MATTER WHAT ,WAKANDA FOREVER
Only those who don't know what he is talking about can say he is crying for himself. He was so proud of everything he was doing regardless. Some of us have walked that journey and it shakes you to the chore
Who knew that this was so personal for him because he at this time was battling stage 3 colon cancer Wow God rest him forevermore and praying his family's strength in the Lord at this time
I now admire Chadwick Boseman more than ever. He was so brave as to face the world and be an inspiration while all along he was battling a deadly disease that he knows will took his life soon.
That's why he was so emotional, he too was probably thinking about his own predicament😥. Life is so strange. Who would have ever knew he had this huge burden with him. Like many of us in our lives...we never truly understand what another goes through or is going through until they have passed. I wish the family peace and strength at this time❤
Sherry what you said is so true. For me, it's another constant reminder to do as Christ instructs. Do your best to try to be kind to people because you never know what they may be going through on the inside, even folks that seem to have life all together on the outside. We just never know.
@@eleanorcopeland Exactly...Co vid is also here to teach us a lesson and many are still not taking heed despite what's happening all over the world and even in our very own lives. We are still taking this life for granted. We see all these celebrities and feel they don't have demons and battles to fight just like us. Some may be worst than others. But we still have our crosses to bare.
my thoughts: the way the other cast members looked at him while he talked is like they knew what he was going through ....but they cant help it but respect his wishes to still go on working and being a hero to many. Much respect
I'm watching this video and thinking that, it is moments like these that reveal a man's true character and heart. God bless you Chadwick Boseman, God bless you.
Now we know why he pushed himself. He was sick here. He wanted to make something beautiful for those kids, for the world. He wanted to give his all for US! For this project. Pala Nathan 💯💯💯
Their stories were hitting closer to home for him than anyone knew 🖤
Chadwick Boseman was not just an actor. He was a hero who fought through the devastation of cancer to produce a flawless performance. However the beauty of this man's story is that it wasnt just a performance. He fought for a cause greater than his own. "Yibambe" means "Hold Strong" in Xhosa and the Black Panther did just that. He suffered in silence so that through him others could one day be heard. In my opinion, that is his greatest feat. Thank you Sir. Your legacy will not be forgotten.
CHAD FOREVER!

HAZZARD Doesn't matter, if you're black of skin color you are related to Africa. If not, yea then no.
As to the person who posted, it does have an impact. Recent social experiments point out that black panther is very uplifting to the black community in the Netherlands
It’s just a movie after you watch it , your life is still going to be the same.
And he was battling cancer himself at the time wow. not publicizing his illness, he put himself aside for others. a true hero.
