I don't have a Family Dollar store near me, but there are 99 cents only stores near where I live and everything is pretty much the same price as Walmart or a regular store. Dollar Tree has really raised prices on everything too, half the stuff in the store is $3 and up

I get awesome deals almost every weekend from DG. I get good deals from FD every 4-5 weeks. The coupons are usually better for DG. I do like DT for some items

Hey, Nick...been using the shopkick rebate I have for the tyson frozen chicken sand...mine 1100+kicks. A little less than half off at walmart, but we have been buying them every time it renews. These are the best sandwiches and we'll worth the money, I encourage you to try them.

You should do this again, but only name brand products and compare price per ounce. For example, compare the cost of 5lb. Bag of Purina cat food. I always base my prices off of Walmart to determine a "good deal". I think it is hard to compare store brands because they often are not as good quality products.
Yeah personally I don't think most things at the dollar stores really are any cheaper than Walmart. A small selection of things for sure...but not the majority.

I feel like DG still wins because they came in cheaper for most items (other than the few things they didn't have for $1)

What I've noticed between stores is the produce size can be different. I know Walmart has special sizes to make their products appear cheaper if you don't look at the actual size and compare oz/sheet to other stores.
Oh for sure. A lot of these things are the same price if not cheaper at Walmart.

99 ceny store but its closing. My Dollar Genersld are not well stocked. I prefer Family Dollar, but sadly they arena lot more expensive sometimes tuan even thenregular gr9cery stores like Kroger and HEB.

Dollar tree is 20 miles Dollar general is 4 miles so if you add in gas dg is cheaper for me
