  • Nigeria's state-owned oil company has declared a state of emergency for crude oil production.
    The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) says this is to address issues affecting production and to improve output.
    Nigeria, one of Africa's top oil producers, has been struggling to raise output levels to meet National budget targets.
