Ok Tag Team Racing is probably no where near the best Crash Bandicoot game but it still provides some stupid fun to be had if you are bored.
You can say that about one million games that are better.
Yeah, and it's also alright with a friend or few. If a couple of human players tag up, then there becomes a tactical element; when do you leave them? You're both at an advantage while tagged, but if you want to get a better place than them, then you should untag from them before they untag from you. There's also an arena mode where two players are permenantly tagged and all of the teams fight to the death, in case you need something different.
Not the best option in the world for this sort of thing, but it's not the worst.
Exactly, the more the merrier.

Lol tag team racing gets so much hate but I actually really enjoyed it as a kid. It's flawed obviously, but I can't help but have fond memories of my time with it. I think it's primary turnoff was how the cart racing never felt centre stage like prior entries such as nitro kart

I never played TTR, but I saw the commercials CONSTANTLY. Fuck, they wouldn't STOP with the goddamn commercials for this fucking game. They pushed it HARD for whatever reason.

Tag Team’s overworld is honestly the game’s Chao Garden from SA2. They are both these little distractions inside of a bigger game, yet they are the best part (maybe even the only good parts :) )
Don't forget the Loading Screens
Yes with its tedious fetch quests, wildly out of character cutscenes that made Crash look like a suicidal murderous sociopath, and pointless enemies. Such a well designed system.
I never knew people were against Tag Team. Honeslty one of my favorite games. I've 100% it twice I believe.

The racing aspect is quite ass. Especially after playing the stellar racing in CTR, CNK, and CTRNF. The platforming was interesting
A lot of people say that Crash Twinsanity was the last good Crash game before N. Sane Trilogy. But in all honesty, I would have to disagree with that statement. Don't get me wrong, I do love Crash Twinsanity. Plus my most favorite Crash game is Crash Twinsanity. The last good Crash game before N. Sane Trilogy in my honest opinion, is Crash Tag Team Racing.
A word to the wise:
DON'T play Crash Of The Titans DS in a moving car unless all the windows are rolled up or the microphone will go haywire when you control certain Titans.

Twinsanity can be seen as the Sonic 06 of the Crash franchise by some people. Great music for a technically unfinished game with a ton of content removed... the difference is that Twinsanity is actually kind of funny and has decent controls unlike 06. 06 has the funny factor with its ridiculous glitches while Twinsanity is intentionally funny. Twinsanity was a fun experience, but nothing much more in my opinion

Trilogy), Crash Team Racing and Crash Nitro Kart are far more nostalgic and strongly structured no matter what.

I gotta be honest here concerning Crash Tag Team Racing. It's entire story and theme is as if it's a Saturday Morning Cartoon and the Die-O-Ramas are pretty much just Looney Tunes esque antics if anything if you're a big fan of say Wily Coyote and Road Runner's shorts.

Crash Tag Team Racing was one my favorite games, and was one of my first introductions to the orange marsupial.
Edit: I absolutely loved the bowling minigame. (Former Special Olympics bowling champion here folks.)

i doubt that he'll ever cover danganronpa, from what i know, the only game close to danganronpa he's ever covered was 999, which he reviewed almost 6 years ago
You all want to know something funny? When I was a child I had only a few games for my DS and one of them Is "Crash: Mind over Mutant" and I loved the game so much that I must have played it several times over. I liked discovering all the little secrets the game have to offer and using different costumes in the levels (which gives you different benefits depending on what costume you wear). And of course the main highlight of taking control of mutants where each mutant not only have their own attacks, but also have their own special moves that help in fights and discovering more secrets. I remember that two of the most memorial moves that comes to mind is the one from the plant mutant which creates a little spark which after a little while explodes into multiple small explosions; and one from the snake mutant where it disperse into a cloud of sand dealing significant damage to any enemy inside it as well as being invulnerable while it happens. And the fact that the mutants can evolve making them not only stronger, but also look why cooler as they evolve which makes me love this game way more.
It is kinda sad to hear that AntDude believes that "Crash: Mind over Mutant" is the worst crash game over the series. But I do not blame him for saying that either, to be fair compared to the other games he showed in this video (with the exception of "Crash of the Titans" on the game boy advance, because personally that game seems to be worse than this one, but I only saw the few scenes he showed and also the fact that I have not played the game myself so my opinion is very weak on that) they seem to be of better quality; especially "Crash of the Titans" on the DS. Thus I always believe that due to each and every one of us and our own personal experiences, we all tend to have our own preference on what games are good and bad to us.
The very thing I can thank you for is giving this game a chance and experience it for yourself (Even if it is for a short while).

CB Tag Team Racing was a very funny game when i was a kid. The racing was super easy, of course, but the overworld and the unlockables were so much fun to me.
I actually have so much memories about Crash Tag Team Racing, not because of the Racing, but because of the platforming parts and quests

You listed all the reasons why me and my brother loved C:TTR as kids. It was just so goofy and stupid, we played multiplayer and both of us would force merge into the others car as a troll and never let go and it never got old.

Well, I could say tag team racing is very good, but you never tried the battle arena stages.
Fun fact, the sprites that caddy said were pretending to be 3d models actually are bitcrushed images of 3d models of which the originals can be found in the game files for Crash: Mind Over Mutants although the characters in Mins Over Mutants use a different set of 3d models
