Its been a while since I try to hunt with my cross bow, I had some free time so I went out on a mission to shoot some meat.

Great shot with the crossbow! Dropped him on the spot too! I must dust off my bow and get out for a hunt. I find taking something with a bow most memorable compared with a rifle!.

Good if your all set up and ready to fire. But most time I spooked something and watch it run before even getting a chance to load. A recurve bow is much fast to get ready to shoot.

They're a throwaway head from my experience. They kills goats and even deer fine but the thread snaps inside the arrow/bolt so it becomes a pain to make it usable again if you shoot carbon arrows/bolts. I've only shot them with a compound bow though so not sure of the damage with an xbow
