This is a hunting video, if its not your thing, don't watch it. Its been a while since I try to hunt with my cross bow, I had some free time so I went out on a mission to shoot some meat.
Great shot with the crossbow! Dropped him on the spot too! I must dust off my bow and get out for a hunt. I find taking something with a bow most memorable compared with a rifle!.
Hey man, I just got myself a jag 2 pro crossbow. I watched your video when you got the crossbow. Could you make a video on the modifications you've done to your xbow!
@@lutherrhein7697 nope, I got a tough skin, takes alot more to offend me. That's the thing with typing and text, you don't know if I'm joking or if your joking. Horrible shot because you didn't pull the trigger aye.
@@selfreliancelife9133 with a rifle, from that distance it should have been a head shot, the animal suffered needlessly mate. the fact that you did not get the point, you should not be hunting at all.
@@robthomson7350 yes it's a pretty good cross bow. The only problem I have with cross bow is that most time you come up to a animal surprised. And it takes time to load and get ready. Good if your all set up and ready to fire. But most time I spooked something and watch it run before even getting a chance to load. A recurve bow is much fast to get ready to shoot.
Your not the only person who sees animal while trout fishing, a lot of people tell me the same thing. Maybe I should do some fresh water fishing and keep a gun close by haha
They're a throwaway head from my experience. They kills goats and even deer fine but the thread snaps inside the arrow/bolt so it becomes a pain to make it usable again if you shoot carbon arrows/bolts. I've only shot them with a compound bow though so not sure of the damage with an xbow
Verygood
@@duiliorodriguesdebarros8676 thanks 👍
Waitomo again bro
Not much there any more.

Thanks mate. Yeah makes it more of a challenge.

Didn't do to much , all I did was just changed the scope. I prefer the rifle scope personal.
horrible shot with the rifle
your welcome to do your own channel and show off all your great shots.

@@lutherrhein7697 I was using the cross bow. I bring a friend along who is new to hunting, that was his first kill with the rifle. Cheers
Looks like I watched way too many Star wars. Been expecting you to off the guy in front of you at the beginning, sith style.
Thanks 👍
Realy terrifying shot
Nice shooting my friend. The Jaguar 2 is a great hunting tool, and a silent but efficient way of feeding yourselves.
Thanks. it's price is good as well making it an affordable option.
What gap should there be between the bowstring and the striker?
I have no idea, the cross bow came with the string on as it is.
You using 16 or 20" I have one, 16" bolts with 1 1/8 broadhead just fit
20" because it's easier to find in the grass
Good shot. Stoned it!
Thanks 👍
I’m looking to buy this for my first crossbow. Would you recommend?
Yes, it's a great bow with a great price. Highly recommend it
That scope looks brilliant on the jag 2 .. Will it fit most scopes ? Thanks .
Yes as long as the scope is adjustable, it can take any rifle scope
awesome content. great lookingh animal in your profile pic too cant wait for the video
Thanks 👍
are you using 20" bolts?
Yes. I find they work best
@@selfreliancelife9133 as they carry more kinetic energy?
@@aut0matt yes and it's easier to find in long grass and bushes
Location? Is that in Thailand ?
this video was film in King country in NZ. lots of goats around that area
Hi who makes the jag 2 thanks
Not to sure. Maybe some guys in china
Ek archery
Hi is better 20 or 22 inch bolt ?
I think it was 22. I like longer bolt . Easier to find
@@selfreliancelife9133 more long bolt have also more kinetic energy?
@@Groovy-Tube yes that's true
Good job.
Thanks

@@BhewaMd484 not American forest. This is New Zealand
How big would the stringer be for this crossbow
I'm not sure now. I don't have that bow any more. But string are available separate to buy because it's a popular cross bow

Hope you helped that possom
i wouldve plucked it too
Nice shot might think of buying one
I brought that one from gun city. There's a few options around, depends how much you want to spend.
You should check out the Cold Steel CheapShot heads for your crossbow bolts.
That broad head I used work well for me. And it's cheap to

did you free the possum
Not my possum so leave it as it is. Don't know if there's camera around the area, let the person who set up the trap deal with it.
