Glad to see a new upload! I don't run a choke on any of my carburated cars, but have always wondered how the automatic chokes work. I have no questions now. :)
Love your videos and thanks so much. I am in the process of drilling my late model 4777-8 double pumper to have vacuum supplied from the body for the add on electric choke. Was on a camel hump 327 and will be on an all new Dart block 450 HP 327 very soon. Daily driven 69 Nova.
Thanks for making this video! Can you explain more of adjusting the electric choke rotation to get it to close and setting the high idle speed of the choke.. thank you so much!!!
Interesting ! I always thought it was ok to leave fitting on heat riser open if manifold does not have. I have a 4180 and choke housing fitting is open . What does that cause ? Vacume leak ?
Glad to see a new upload!

@@holleycarbshowtosadvice40y90 Awesome!! Your the best!!
i was wondering about those two lines. cheers
The vacuum from the choke housing has to be vented to the air cleaner, some carbs have a port on the carb housing to do this. Hope this helps.
cheers mate yep, the one a have atm, has this exact set up 👍@@holleycarbshowtosadvice40y90

No it should be open but should have some way of filtering the vacuum to keep it from drawing dirt or trash in the choke housing.
